lies cannot be changed,
taken back
or lost.

once cast,
it is there,
in the forefront,
where it was tossed.

opened up to public view,
almost unbearable,
it's our private cross.

lost friendships,
hurt feelings,
in the end,
a terribel loss.

can we really believe,
the lie,
is worth the cost?
