I am very big on education. I feel the knowledge you gain about your disease is a weapon that gives you both a sense of control and information on how to better care for yourself. I will be putting together articles for this page that I have handed out at our support group meetings and explain their significance to you, as well as give updated information.
I believe those of you that join us here will have the honor of being a part of one of the very first internet support groups. Please feel free to write in with any questions you may have, and if I don�t have the answer, I�ll find it. This is what I do best, it�s a labor of love for me and I get the energy I need to battle this disease from you.
Oh, by the way, this all came about when the couple who maintain this page, Gary and Debbie Sanders, who have been on the circuit for awhile and talking to all of you, said, "Jean, why don�t you start writing articles for the internet?" Well, they didn�t have to twist my arm because I have already been helping people that call me from around the United States, so what�s a few more inquiries? We�ll see where this all goes, but it should be informative and fun.
To bring you out of darkness into the light and let you know that you are loved and not alone.
