All kinds of experiments were carried out by different doctors here, among them castrations and sterilizations. The doctors made no bones about it that their purpose was to prepare for the sterilization of certain European nationalities, most likely Slavs, after the war. Clauberg's sterilization project starter with about 350 or 400 mostly Greek and Dutch women on December 18, 1942. He injected into their uterus consecutively iodipirin, F 12a, which was diluted novacaine, and citobarium. He also subjected the women to x-rays. The process resulted in peritonitus, inflamation of the ovaries, and high fever. The ovaries were then removed, usually in two separate operations, and then sent to Berlin for further analysis. Most women who survived these experiments ended up in the gas chambers."
