Where Does Marlon's Appeal Come From?
What does Marlon Brando have that is missing in most other classic movie stars? What makes him different from Clark Gable, Errol Flynn, Montgomery Clift, Jimmy Stewart? What has he got?

The answer is not simple. It involves looking deep into Marlon Brando. He's got soooooo much! Those gorgeous eyes...that awesome build...those full lips...the smile that could melt an iceburg (that's one thing he never lost!)...that sexy voice...oops, gotta get control of myself here! Well, all those factors are part of his never-fading appeal...I mean, even at hisold age and current weight, I still stare at his smile and his eyes...neither of those have changed in fifty years. Neither has his voice. I love to listen to his voice, it's my favorite asset of Marlon Brando's. Through all this time that Marlon Brando has remained a symbol of acting, he has never lost his gorgeous voice. It's so deep and throaty...nobody in the world has one quite like it! "Bonasera!" It could also be knowing how honest and straight forward he is. He may have said that he hated the character of Stanley, (which, by the way, I think is the greatest character ever), but he is like him in some ways. He is honest, and never afraid to admit who he really is. That is what impresses me the most about Marlon Brando. Perhaps that is part of his appeal. If you read his autobiography, Brando: Songs My Mother Taught Me, you will see how honest and wonderful he really is. Because no one is like Marlon Brando. NO ONE!!!!!! 1
