Here's where I gush over Ben...which I do often...
August 15, 1999Wow...it's been awhile...I've been so busy graduating from university and going to post-graduate stuff that I haven't had time to update this page! But today is Ben's birthday... :) So happy birthday Ben! Give us some more movies to watch!
I was in Estonia on vacation last month, and got to watch "Shakespeare in Love" on the flight home. Also in Estonia, I found an Armageddon poster of A.J. Frost in a magazine, written all in Estonian. Of course, I ripped it out and brought it home :)
January 29, 1999 Ben was on Politically Incorrect last night...wow...sexy and smart too? :) I'm impressed! I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but I taped it and I plan on watching it after I type this!
January 25, 1999 I saw "Shakespeare in Love" again over the holidays and liked it a lot more.
Big news...(old news now)...Ben and Gwyneth broke up. He looked very bitter at the Golden Globes last night sitting next to her :( poor guy :(
December 28 I finally saw "Shakespeare in Love" and was sadly disappointed...Ben's accent was pretty bad, and his role was very small. He had some good and funny lines though...overall, the movie was just ok. Mediocre acting, but a neat storyline!
November 27 Sorry about the lack of gushing going on, to those who actually enjoy reading this page. I've been having major computer troubles, major school work, and applications for Teacher's College. Life has been busy. Anyways, I saw the first preview for "Shakespeare In Love" today...the facial hair's back, so I have a sudden craving for a viewing of "Chasing Amy" (which I'm getting for Christmas, so I'll have to wait...sniff...). The film looks interesting...anyone know if Joseph Fiennes is related to Ralph? (yes, he is!) Gwyneth looks good with curly hair...yay for curls!
September 9 I thought about it, and finally decided to change the name of this page. I was sick and tired of being compared to and confused with the other Chasing Ben page, which is an excellent page and all, but I wanted to be original. Anyways, I have now changed the name to "Affleck-addicts Anonymous", seeing as most people who admire Ben seem to be obsessed :) So I hope you like the page...it's still the same, but just a new name!
September 2 After a lot of searching and disappointment when it's sold out, I have finally found and purchased a copy of the HOT Ben Affleck poster that's out...the one from Armageddon, but doesn't have Ben in a space suit. I just got it home about 26 minutes ago, and am planning the ideal spot for it :)
This weekend, to show my appreciation for Ben, I am holding a private Ben-fest, where my best friend and I will watch all the Ben movies I can manage to find! :) WHEE!! :)
July 1 I just got home from seeing Armageddon... :)
June 30 Check out Ben on various talkshows (Letterman tonight, Rosie tomorrow...the Tonight Show on Friday...) this week, and of course ARMAGEDDON which comes out in theatres tomorrow! You know I'll be there, in the front row!
June 6 Not much going on...just waiting for Armageddon! Not much longer now! WOO!!!

April 18 I saw "Good Will Hunting for the third time, with a sneak preview of Gwyneth's (BLAHHH)new and excellent film, "Sliding Doors". It's so hard to hate her, but so easy to be extremely jealous of her!
Anyways, GWH was great again...:) I caught some things I hadn't caught the first two times. And still, no one laughed at the Indian joke, which for some reason, really cracks my best friend and I up.
We must have been so annoying, squealing over Ben and Matt (eww...that one scene with Matt's butt-hair!!) but I don't care. Anyone know when GWH will be out on video??
I also got a magazine of "Hollywood's Hottest Hunks", which has some nice pictures of Ben that are worth scanning...you'll see them as soon as I get around to scanning them!
April 15 I stupidly didn't buy the "Glory Daze" soundtrack when I saw it today. But what I did see and take full advantage of, was a HUGE painting of a Roots ad featuring Matt Damon, on the side of the Pantages theatre. AND on the Roots store at the Eaton Centre. DROOOOLICIOUS! Hopefully they'll stick one of Ben up outside my house or something... :)
April 12 Today I saw "Glory Daze"...Ben was awesome, of course...except for his hair. Pretty good movie...
Ben really has a nice nose.
But yeah, the movie...was good. I always wish I could be in that sort of situation...living life in a dump with a pile of friends, not caring about much of anything...sigh...only in Hollywood.
It's funny watching all of these movies now, noticing the running theme of almost-post-teen angst and seeing the recycling of actors...it's like this set of actors just stick together because they know they're just so DAMN fine together! Matt Damon, Matthew McConaughey, Brendan Fraser...blah blah blah. And it was the one time, for a very brief second of liplock, that I wished I was Alyssa Milano...even to be rejected by Ben...to be ANYTHING-ed by Ben...sigh...I'm pathetic! :)
