This is the Hacker's Manfesto, I used to have the unabridged version of this with the original writer, but that was lost in a computer crash. This is a creedo for anyone seeking knowledge that has been rejected by colleges or universities by whatever means. I come from the old school of hackers, we sought out knowledge that was forbidden or restricted. It is true that some of us old schoolers wrote viriuses to get even for what reasons we had. But remember, our enemy was (and still is) big businesses, certain political parties (mostly who oppressed the poor and lower classes), and generally anyone that pissed us off. I personally took myself out of the loop, but the essence of the credo remains intact. So, if you are seeking knowledge to empower yourself for the sake of improvement and enriching the lives of others and not seeking knowledge for the sake of power. Then, my friend you too are a hacker.
