Doli, in the movie, is the Fairfolk who is King Eidilleg's right-hand fairy and leads Taran and the gang to Morva, where the Black Cauldron can be found. He is very small, grouchy, and wears as yellow suit and cap and has a white beard. In the books, the Fairfolk are more like people, thus Doli is a dwarf, with a flame-red beard. Doli has a rather large part in the books, but a rather smalll one in the movie.
