* Okay. Most of y'all have heard of 'N Sync, but for those of you who don't know, I'll let you in on 'em. Mouseketeers Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez are in a group of five guys called (drumroll, please!) 'N Sync. Justin's mother is the "manager" thus far, and the band is currently based in Orlando, Florida. The group had a "showcase" concert on October 22 at the Rock 'n' Roll Beach Club on Pleasure Island, in which they taped a video demo for record companies. From what I've heard, these guys are GREAT!! The band's other members are Lance, Chris, and Joey. A fact sheet about the band was sent out, but I never got mine, so any more info on the band would be greatly appreciated. Another piece of info: JC did a radio interview the day of the concert to help promote. Did anyone hear it? If so, let me know so we can tell the other members!

*It turns out that the guys were able to come home for Christmas, but on January 1st, they had to go back overseas to start another tour for a couple of months. Their record company is planning on starting a tour in the US by the end of the summer,so watch for them! :-)

* The whole
chat stuff was a total riot !!! That chat area wasn't easy to find!You couldn't
get in anymore after awhile, since they seemed to have only space for about
30 people !!!! It was totally stupid to use that chat system! They should've
known, that there'd be more fans ! But, on the other hand, probably they
wanted to do that this way, 'cause otherwise they guys weren't able to answer
to so many questions !)
March 1997
* a typical N SYNC concert in Germany lasts 3 hours! It's 100 DM which is $75.00. 'N SYNC are very popular in Germany and they are on TV there. Right now 'N SYNC is in Frankfurt, Germany.
April 1997
* 'N Sync
are going to release their next single "Here We Go" in Germany on May 5th.
They will release their self-titled debut album on May 28th. They are headed
off to Europe and South Africa to tour and hope to come here in June.
* 'N Sync's
album comes out on May 26th, not the 28th. They're gone for 4 months,
and from what I've heard, they won't be back in the US until AUGUST, not
June. This doesn't mean that they can't release anything here before then,
but I doubt they will since they'll most likely be out of the country. They're
going to Germany, South Africa, Greece, Mexico, and more.

Manar I went the other day to VIVA again. This time
the girls from yesterday had
little
presents like stuff-animals for the guys. After that they came out. We asked
them if they could sing something for us and so they sang "Its hard to say
goodbye" . It was so wonderful! Then they gave autographs. Perhaps
you know `N Sync were the support-act of DJ Bobo. On Chris's birthday they
had a concert in Cologne and so I went to the hall. Many fans had cakes and
presents for him. When they arrived we all sang "Happy Birthday". On Joey's
birthday they were again in Cologne for a TV-show. I had for Joey a
birthday-card and a golden chain and a stuff-dog for Lance.
June 1997
* *N SYNC performed at a festival in Germany with loads of other groups straight after they'd flown in from Berlin.
*N Sync's nicknames: Chris is "CKone" as in the initials of his name, or sometimes Clark Kent, but Joe hates that since he's the Superman fan!! Justin is "the little one" JC is called "WipeOut", And Lance... we used to be called "Lance No Fans" because nobody seemed to like him, also because he hasn't got that "I'm gorgeous" look over him.. but he's just so sweet that people stopped calling him that and call him "Free-Lance"... cause they all hope he's still free!!
* 'N SYNC
Performed at RantaRock (a music festival in Finland) (It's a
three day midsummer festival).. They came on around 8 and the ticket
cost about $50!!!!!
