*Last weekend's ET edition had a "Hottest Young Stars In Hollywood" theme. It showed clips of the photo shoot from "Hottest Stars Under 21," which had Justin, Lance, and Britney. They also showed some footage on Keri from MS and now, and the cover story had Britney along with clips from her new video "Sometimes" which was released this Thursday.

*The band "Crash Test Dummies," recently played Britney's hit song "Baby One More Time" at a club in the Washington D.C. area.
*Wild, Wild Wango Tango will be held June 12 in Dodger Stadium and will include such top musical acts as Will Smith, Ricky Martin, Britney Spears, 98 Degrees, Blondie, UB40, Shaggy, Nancy Sinatra and more. It will be broadcast live on the internet via audiohighway.com
*Britney's opening acts for her summer tour will be C-Note, Michael Fredo, and the Euro-pop group Steps.
*Britney's next single (third) is going to be You Drive Me Crazy. the single she will be doing a whole different mix. The single is scheduled to be coming out sometime in late August or early September.
*Britney Spears is featured in the new VIBE magazine with rapper Mase on the cover.
*Britney did 2 TV shows & lots of promotion in Tokyo, then took the "Bullet Train" to Osaka for more promotion. She also did 3 weekends at Disney World in Orlando for the Disney Grad Nites. It's when seniors from all over the US come to Orlando and Disney lets them have free use of the park from 11pm to 5am. She performed at 11pm and again at 1am.
* Now she is in NY - working with the producer of "You Drive Me Crazy" to get it ready to be the third single.
*Next up for Britney is more European promo & then settling down for total tour rehearsal in Orlando. She and 6 dancers will have about 3 weeks to get this show together with choreography and lots of energy! She's doing an hour plus show for about 10 weeks!

*Britney is on the cover of Sky (a British mag), Big! (a British teen mag) and Teen people. Sky talks about her controversial BOMT video outfit, the somewhat dubious lyrcis of the song (people think it's masochistic) and her conteoversial Rolling Stone shoot (if you haven't seen it... it featured Britney in various revealling outfits playing off of her age and childlike innocence. Some people call it "kiddie porn"), Big! and the other british teen mags she is in talk about her love of shopping and sense of style.
*Bitney's song "The Beat Goes On" was played on General Hospital on May 13th. As well, "God Must Have Spent" was played on the same day - AGAIN! It's Lucky and Liz's song.
*A local station in AZ reported that Britney Spears is interested in attending ASU in the Fall...She was spotted on campus checking out the grounds and getting info on the school.
*an alternative rock station which mainly comes through to Long Island and NYC (WLIR 92.7) plays an alternative band's cover of "Baby One More Time". Very odd considering the dance beats were taken out and replaced with guitars. The band was "Fountains of Wayne" and unfortunately the single is only available in NY since the song was an exclusive to WLIR.

Christina News
*Christina's albums have been pushed back yet again. The single "Genie in a Bottle" will be out June 22 and the full album will be out August 1.
*Genie In The Bottle is already played on 100 stations in the U.S.
*Christina's duet with Tevin Campell at the ALMA Awards will air on ABC on June 3rd.
*There is a review and a photo of Christina in the July issue of Mademoiselle, a review in the July issue of Teen and an interview in the new YM (on newstsands June 29th)
*The video for "Genie" is being shot next week and will be made available to MTV etc in late June
*Ananda (a VJ on MTV) mentioned Christina Aguilera on her show the other day. She said that won't be the last time you'll be hearing that name!

The show is a half-hour sitcom about a rap group which will air in the fall on the UPN network at 8:30 pm on Tuesdays
* the UPN website describes Dale's show : "Shasta McNasty introduces us to three young men (Scott, Dennis and Ran) who make an art form out of mediocrity. It's three guys, a hip-hop band and a single camera. Scott, Dennis and Ran have developed a following for their music, but they're having problems following up. Sure, they want fame and fortune, but they also want to sleep until noon. Shot with a single camera, it feels, at times, more like a music video than a sitcom. Not that that's a bad thing.

*In Teen People's All Star High Shcool yearbook they have High School photos of: Keri (two yearbook oics), Britney (one of her in her basketball uniform), Joey (TONS of CUTE pictures of him acting in plays and some cute childhood photos), Lance (childhood photos) AND Christina, Britney, Justin and Lance signed Teen People's yerabook. Also in the section where they choose clothes for stars they chose a pair of "Guess?" pants for JC!
*Keri is the "cover girl" of this month's "101 Hairstyles" (it's a new magazine). She's one of two celebrity profiles in the mag - the other one happens to be Britney. Keri's article is four pages long, with several pics to support it - including a few from "Mad About Mambo".
*In the current issue\ of People, Keri is in a little article. It's about her going past some photographers who were yelling at her to "look over here!" and stuff. After she walked by them, they booed. Later, she came back out and there were a few left and they were nice and she said, "you can tell those other photographers that you got the picture because you were nice."
