Me and my friend Christina got to the place at like 6:30. The line was literally down the block, from like 7th Ave. (where it is) to where we were (9th Ave.) and then some. There were so many guys and little kids like I never saw before. So we get into the place at like 7:00 and then we go right to the back and we left some space in front of us thinking it would be easier to see cuz since we're both short, we couldn't stand directly behind people. So then Tommy Hilfiger comes out and introduces the opening acts and her.
Boyz N Girlz United come out first and they were ok. Like it's original to have like a boy band type band with girls and guys and all and the music was ok. I couldn't really see though so I decided to get a Britney program.
Well, I didn't have enough money but I found a spot behind these two women that I was in like an elevated lobby so I could see over eveyrone's heads so me and Christina stood there and I didn't get a program cuz I didn't have enough money. Then Third Storee came out and I didn't care for them too much. They even did this thing in the beginning with like suits and masks and stuff and danced to instrumental music (gee, sound familiar?? I wonder where they got THAT idea from!!) Then Michael Fredo came out. Anyways, he was ok he looked like Michael the guy who dated Julie on "Hang Time" to me. He was ok too.
Then the ladies in front of me left, so now I was in the front of this area.
Then after an hour of waiting, Britney came out. Well, actually her dancers did. She now has four guy dancers, including T.J. (he's my fave hee hee) And they danced and then sat at these desks and then you hear a voice doing a roll call and then it gets to Britney and it's like "Britney, Britney" and then all of a sudden she comes out and she comes down the stairs in like a while suit I think. It was so weird to hear the crowd scream so much for her, her being the headliner and all. What a difference from NJPAC!! So then she did this dance with her dancers and she looked soooo cute!! And her dancing was awesome, just like the Britney we all know and love!! She had on this cute pink halter top think that was sparkly and pretty and I think white pants (I gotta check my pics) and her hair was all blonde, long and in a ponytail like when Madonna. While she was dancing, it was so good and amazing I even got chills!! It was awesome!! :)
Then she sang "U Drive Me Crazy" and she danced a lot in that. Then this guy came out and she did "Soda Pop" which was cool cuz she went back and forth on to the two platforms on the sides of the stage a lot and I could see her really well when she stood on there since I was directly behind the photographer. Good thing he had big armpits so I could see underneath his arms LOL
Then she changed into these Tommy overalls jeans and a white shirt = no tummys showing!! And she sang "Born to Make you Happy" and then "From the Bottom of my Broken Heart" which were really good. I think she sat down for them too.
After that, they played this Madonna and Janet thing and then all of a sudden she comes out in this white outfit and comes down the stairs singing "Material Girl!" then the dancers pulled that outfit off and she had on this tight black reallyl short and sexy type dress on (looked leather perhaps) and she sang "Black Cat" by Janet Jackson and then "Nasty Boys" by Janet and did so much dancing, it was awesome!!
Then she changed again and had on the outfit like in Sometimes, the white one. She sang "I Will Be There" and they did it like it was a little skit type thing where the dancers also like dance acted and then att he end each one ended up with their guy like and the girl dancers (only two) like "hung out" with Britney during the song like it was a role palying thing during the song like I hope you understand what I'm saying cuz it's soo hard to describe!! =P
Then she did "The Beat Goes On" and that was sooo cool live, cuz the choreography is amazing. Like it just fit so well with the music and she sang it so good!! I loved that part of the show too!
After that she sat down and thanked the audience for embracing her with open arms and accepting her and so she sang "Open Arms" to thank them in dedicaiton and taht was really pretty!! She was really good during that too.
Then she did "Sometimes" and barely danced, but it sounded good live.
Finally, she came back out in this really cool school girl outfit that was sparkly and a lot more flashy than the video and she did "Baby One More Time" and danced a lot in it, so much more than the talk shows of late.
Oh, and do you all remember the All Access special with the blind date? Well that was this show and I saw those two up on stage. Hey, if you're that guy who went on that date and are still single, email me cuz I thought you seemed like a nice guy! :)
