*there is a picture of her single in a British entertainment magazine. it said her single is number one the week after it debuted and her album will be released March 8th.
*There is also an article about Britney in the same magazine. The article didn't say anything new or intertesting except Hit me baby means hit me with your love
*The British teen magazine "Smash Hits" has lyric cards you can tear off and save and this week they are of upcoming new pop stars and/or new pop singles.
* inside they have an interview with Britney and an article comapring her to soem british singer Billie who had a number one hit at age 15. The picture is really nice I've never seen it before. Britney is standing up wearing a blue tank top and over her shoulders she has a blue striped sweater.
*She was also chosen as "single of the fortnight"
*IN Smash Hits there's an ad for her single.It's for HMV music stores and it has a bue background with a picture of her single in the middle and says " . . . Baby One More Time - Britney Spears
16 year old Britney Spears has alreday taken America by storm and now she's coming your way! Her brilliant debut single is currently number 1 in America and looks set to do the same over here. Watch out for her forthcoming album in March"
*Britney performed BOMT on a British show called "Live and Kicking Friday"
*BOMT is #1 at the TOTP and they talked to Brits thru video. She disloacted her knee so she couldn't come on the show!!=-(

* First new artist (male or female) to jump into the No. 1 spot on both the Hot 100 and Billboard 200.
*First new artist (male or female) to have a single go to the No. 1 spot the same week that the album debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200.
* First new female artist to have her first single and first album at No. 1 the same week.
* Britney Spears is the youngest female in Billboard history to have a simultaneous No. 1 single and album debut at No. 1 in the same week.
*Also, it's the first time in Billboard history that a single and album of the same name goes to No. 1 simultaneously.
*Britney will be on Dawson's Creek: She is set to play a character from one of the other main character's pasts. In this case, Jen's. Britney's character hears about how much Jen is enjoying Capeside life and decides she needs to check it all out for herself. Most likely going to stir up some trouble in the process. She will be appearing on the show for about 3 or 4 episodes later in the season!
