From NYPost: "LEO AND HIS CAT PACK ON PROWL FOR SEX KITTENS By BILL HOFFMANN
Frank Sinatra had his "Rat Pack." Rob Lowe had his "Brat Pack." Now meet Leonardo DiCaprio's band of hunky, hypersexed hangers-on. His crowd of hot, young actors prowls Manhattan night after night in search of kicks, cool nightclubs and a continuous flow of adoring babes.
His posse - which takes its unprintable nickname from a vulgar term for women - "didn't get its name for nothing," DiCaprio says in the best-selling book "The Leonardo DiCaprio Album." "When you're my age, your hormones are just kicking in and there's not much besides sex on your mind," he says. Leo's posse has become so notorious on the Big Apple's late-night circuit that New York magazine devotes a cover story to it this week. "They're all about seeing girls," a photographer who once ushered Leo and his boys into a Victoria's Secret event told the mag.
New York identifies the nation's new post-Generation-X pack of Hollywood up-and- comers as:
Tobey Maguire, the sensitive teen in "The Ice Storm"; former childstar Lukas Haas from "Witness"; Harmony Korine, who made the twisted "Gummo"; and Jay Ferguson, Burt Reynolds' TV son in "Evening Shade." Other members are: Ethan Suplee of "Chasing Amy"; Kevin Connolly, an actor on the WB network; Justin Herwick; Josh Miller, who played Keanu Reeves' brother in "River's Edge"; and magician David Blaine. And just so they don't come off as a testosterone-fueled sty of sexist pigs, Leo's boys have admitted Sara Gilbert of "Roseanne" - much the way Sinatra brought Shirley MacLaine into his Rat Pack.
They're regularly seen at Moomba, Chaos, Veruka, NV, the Bubble Lounge and other "only-the-hippest-guests-please" clubs. And, of course, they even visit the occasional strip joint.
Once inside, the posse finds itself surrounded by girls eager to throw themselves at Leo's feet - with hopes of landing in his bed. "I will have him!" said one slinky, 40-year-old woman of Leo at the red-hot nightspot Shine. "One day, I will see him here and he will make eye contact with me and he will know that we were meant to be together for a brief affair. Because he is so sensitive."
Unlike Sinatra and Lowe, who had no trouble blowing wads of cash for fun, Leo is a penny pincher. "Leo's cheap. He'll look for a place in the street to park rather than use valet parking ," posse member Suplee tells New York. Leo freely admits it, too, boasting: "I'm the cheapest bastard in the world."
