Because of this, they will not extend more than twelve weeks ahead of what is being seen now.
Monday 3rd May, 1999. Jack captures Jude, but he lets him go when he learns he has Jennifer held hostage. Jennifer escapes and finds the matchbook with the off-shore bank account number in which Peter is depositing money in his own name for Jude written on it. Hope decides to be the bait to lure Jude in.
Tuesday 4th May, 1999. Jennifer is troubled by Jack's theory that Jude and Peter are connected.
Wednesday 5th May, 1999. Carrie tries to figure out how she ended up in bed with Lucas. Both Jamie and Vivian seem to know that Sami is behind it, but Lucas is convinced that Carrie is finally beginning to have feelings for him.
Thursday 6th May, 1999. Bo, John and Abe arrange fantasy dates for the women in their lives. Stefano comes face to face with the Lady in White.
Friday 7th May, 1999. In the attic of the Blake house, Abe and Lexie find a newspaper dated the day of Lexie's birth. They read that the woman who raised her was involved in a hit and run accident outside the Aremid orphanage.
Monday 10th May, 1999. Austin insists that Sami remains living with him in his apartment, a decision which hurts Carrie. Lexie learns that the Parrot Man worked at the orphanage around the time she was born.
Tuesday 11th May, 1999. Stefano is struck by lightning. John is returned to the holding cell following his bail hearing. Jennifer hands over the matchbook to Jack.
Wednesday 12th May, 1999. Jack and Jennifer return to Salem to view the records from the Blue Moon. The old Stefano appears to have returned after his getting struck by lightning.
Thursday 13th May, 1999. Peter rushes to get back to Salem before Jack and Jennifer do.
Friday 14th May, 1999. Stefano blackmails the judge who is hearing John's case and tells him to make sure that he is found guilty.
Monday 17th May, 1999. Ivan shows Victor the videotape that Vivian made for the dating service.
Tuesday 18th May, 1999. Peter agrees not to call Kristen to the witness stand unless it is absolutely necessary. Stefano presses Peter to go for the death penalty.
Wednesday 19th May, 1999. John's trial begins. Jack calls one of the numbers on the matchbook and discovers it's an overseas bank. Hope falls victim to an avalanche.
Thursday 20th May, 1999. Bo forms a serach party to find Hope. Peter calls Kristen to the satnd, but at that moment the trial is temporarily halted so Hope's friends can help look for her. The Lady in White attempts to retrieve the diary, but she instead has an unpleasant encounter with Stefano.
Friday 21st May, 1999. Kristen persuades Peter to let John help search for Hope. She begs John to escape while he can.
Monday 24th May, 1999. Lexie learns that Celeste is her mother. Vivian realises the only way to get Victor back is by being honest. Kate (played by Lauren Koslow) is seen on the fishing boat, vowing to make Vivian's life hell upon her return to Salem.
Tuesday 25th May, 1999. Locked in the kitchen when the boat reaches land, Kate must bribe the first mate to help her escape.
Wednesday 26th May, 1999. Celeste vows to take Lexie's father's identity with her to the grave. The search for Hope is called off.
Thursday 27th May, 1999. Victor, Caroline and Shawn fly to Aremid when they hear about Hope's disappearance. Austin turns down the chance to go on an overnight business trip with Carrie.
Friday 28th May, 1999. Hope is alive but weak, and is rescued by a mysterious stranger.
Monday 31st May, 1999. Marlena has a mysterious encounter with the Lady in White.
Tuesday 1st June, 1999. Jude is revealed to be the stranger looking after Hope. A tape that Tony made before he died is introduced as evidence in John's trial.
Wednesday 2nd June, 1999. Peter re-calls Kristen to the stand and makes her admit that she thinks it's possible that John killed Tony. The Lady in White tells Marlena that the proof of John's innocence is in the house.
Thursday 3rd June, 1999. Hope comes to and is horrified to find she is trapped by Jude, who is intent on revenge. Jennifer insists on accompanying Jack on a trip to the Grand Cayman, where the off-shore bank account is held.
Friday 4th June, 1999. John puts himself on the stand and swears he didn't kill Tony. The Lady in White plans to deliver the diary to Marlena.
Monday 7th June, 1999. Stefano tracks down the Lady in White and retrieves the diary. In order to win over Victor, Vivian plans a huge gala in honour of Kate.
Tuesday 8th June, 1999. John is found guilty of first degree murder and sentenced to the death penalty. He is to be sent to the gas chamber in 48 hours. Jack and Jennifer pose as bank employees, and Jennifer recognises Jude's voice when she takes a call from him.
Wednesday 9th June, 1999. Hope makes a break for it, but does not get far before Jude recaptures her. Kate jumps off the boat.
Thursday 10th June, 1999. The Parrot Man directs Marlena to the Lady in White's hiding place.
Friday 11th June, 1999. Marlena realises that Stefano's memory has returned. Kate washes ashore on an island and is found by two people.
Monday 14th June, 1999. Peter learns that Jennifer is in the Cayman Islands. Bo begs Laura to let him get back to work.
Tuesday 15th June, 1999. Peter hires a computer hacker to remove his name from the bank account. Jack and Jennifer are accidentally locked in a bank vault.
Wednesday 16th June, 1999. Kristen visits Father Francis and asks him who really killed Tony. Marlena agrees to dinner with Stefano in order to get close to the diary. Victor asks Vivian to move back into his house.
Thursday 17th June, 1999. Jude fears that Hope might die on him.
Friday 18th June, 1999. Marlena and the Lady in White develop a plan to get the diary. John is led to the gas chamber.
Monday 21st June, 1999. Victor intervenes and the governer allows a temporary stay of execution for John while he looks over the case again. Bo decides to held a memorial service for Hope. Marlena continues to pretend she wants to sleep with Stefano in order to get hold of Tony's diary.
Tuesday 22nd June, 1999. Marlena delivers the diary to the Lady in White. Stefano is very angry when he discovers it is gone. The Lady in White trips and drops the book, and it is found by Jack and Jennifer, who have just returned from the Cayman Islands.
Wednesday 23rd June, 1999. John is saved from execution at the very last moment. Stefano chloroforms Marlena before she can learn that John is alive. Lexie learns that Stefano is her father.
Thursday 24th June, 1999. Panic ensues when Stefano and Marlena are discovered to be missing.
Friday 25th June, 1999. The gala fundraiser in Kate's memory begins. Celeste warns Stefano that John is alive and looking for him and Marlena.
Monday 28th June, 1999. John puts Marlena before Kristen. Lexie finds Stefano and tells him that he is her father.
Tuesday 29th June, 1999. Lexie holds a gun to Stefano's head and tells him to come back to the house with her. Carrie sees Sami and Austin growing close and decides it's time for her to move on. Victor and Vivian prepare to make love as Kate escapes from the island on a raft.
Wednesday 30th June, 1999. Kate arrives just outside Salem. Stefano makes good his escape with Marlena after he is separated from Lexie and Celeste.
Thursday 1st July, 1999. Kate walks in on Victor and Vivian in bed together and reveals the truth about her accident to a shocked Victor. Stefano escapes as John frantically searches the waters for Marlena.
Friday 2nd July, 1999. Vivian is thrown out of the Kiriakis mansion. John does not want Marlena to receive the emotional letter he wrote to her before he was to be executed saying that he loved her, but the jail guard is about to deliver it to her.
Monday 5th July, 1999. The Lady in White agrees to travel to Salem.
Tuesday 6th July, 1999. Lucas tells Carrie that he loves her. Kristen is shocked to discover that Marlena is staying with John. Kate is reunited with her children.
Wednesday 7th July, 1999. Lexie gets Marlena to admit that she is still in love with John. Bo heads back to Aremid to find Hope once and for all.
Thursday 8th July, 1999. Stefano is revealed to be hiding in the penthouse next to Marlena's.
Friday 9th July, 1999. Jack returns to Aremid to help Bo in his search for Hope.
Monday 12th July, 1999. Peter and Jennifer return to Aremid, and Jennifer accompanies Jack on his search for Bo, who has now also gone missing.
Tuesday 13th July, 1999. Jude arranges to meet with Peter in order to get some more money off him. Marlena moves back into the penthouse, right where Stefano wants her.
Wednesday 14th July, 1999. Jude realises that Hope is a cop. John agrees to move in with Kristen, and he learns that Stefano has been sighted in Salem.
Thursday 15th July, 1999. Peter gets anxious when a witness is asked to identify the man he saw meeting with Jude St Clair. Kristen suggests that Marlena move into the DiMera mansion with her and John. Bo finds Hope and Jude.
Friday 16th July, 1999. Jack finds Jude, who offers him information about his employer. Vivian breaks into the Kiriakis mansion during a party to steal the divorce papers and is caught by Kate.
Monday 19th July, 1999. Vivian asks for Sami's help to win Victor back.
Tuesday 20th July, 1999. Peter kills Jude. Vivian finds Stefano in her bed.
