Carrie, uncomfortable with the sight of Sami and Austin bonding, makes good her escape from the ultrasound. At Titan, Lucas refuses to help Vivian with her latest scheme. She determines to make him pay for crossing her, and when she hears that Victor has sent Austin to a market convention at Green Mountain Lodge, she arranges for Carrie to go there as well. However, Carrie thinks shes going to supervise a shoot in Miami. Lucas also thinks shes going to Miami and is happy that she and Austin are miles apart. He plans to fly to Miami to be with Carrie.
Carrie does not display much confusion or worry when she is taken to Green Mountain Lodge instead of the airport. However, she requests a different room as the one she has been given is the same one in which she first made love to Austin. Austin is surprised to find her at the lodge.
Victor tells Bo that he thinks its too soon for him to go after Billie. He owes it to Billie to do as she asked and explore his feelings for Hope. Later, he goes into work and apologises to Hope for the things he said to her on Green Mountain. He is happy to hear that Abe has an assignment for him which will occupy every hour of his time. He is not so happy that Hope has been assigned as his partner in this undercover operation.
Jennifer tells Peter about how she found Jack in Aremid and the agreement they came to. She admits she felt guilty about the threats she made to make sure he didnt return to Aremid. Meanwhile, Jack tells Laura that instead of driving Jennifer away from Peter, he has to get her to come back to him. He concedes that if she does marry Peter, hell have no choice but to accept its over. Laura seems pleased to hear this. Peter overhears Laura tell Maggie that Jack is still determined to win Jennifer back. He checks himself out of the hospital quick smart and arrives at Jennifers while she, Jack and Abby are enjoying time as a family.

Abe tells Bo and Hope that they must put their personality problems aside and work like professionals. He tells them about their assignment. The Blue Moon is a cocktail lounge which is to be infiltrated undercover. They have suspected for a while it might be a cover for a drug operation. The owner is a man by the name of Jude St Clair. They both go to the Blue Moon and, before they enter, Bo tells Hope to let him do the talking. Inside, Hope is spotted by Jude, who is quite taken with her. He buys her a drink, introductions are made and they arrange to be better acquainted. However, Bo sweeps her away, angry that she defied his orders. He tells her shes off the case, and she tells him shes going to file an official complaint against him with Abe.
Austin attempts to bring back the memories of the night they first made love in the room. Carrie threatens to leave if he keeps talking about it. Later, they find each other at the lake.
Vivian decides to wait a while before she tells Sami that Austin and Carrie are together at the lodge.
When Lou refuses to help Sarah solve the mystery of Marks disappearance, Sarah calls Jack and tells him he must come back to Aremid right away. He tells her hes sorry, but he cant go back on his promise. Sarah stows away in the back of a truck which has stopped in Aremid and is headed for Salem.

Sami spends the evening at the Brady Pub outlining to Jamie her plans for the future with Austin and Jamie spends the evening pointing out how stupid these plans are.
Carrie and Austin grow steadily closer as they swim and fool around together at the lake. Later, Austin arranges dinner for them both and while Carrie is getting some ice, Sami calls, attempting to prove to Jamie that Carrie is the furthest thing from Austins mind. Since he does not mention her to Sami, she believes that she is right. She decides she might go up to the lodge and surprise him, while Austin tries to convince Carrie that its time for them to get back together.
Peter falls asleep on the couch and Jack hears him talking in his sleep about Aremid. However, he is not sleeping, hes only pretending to see if Jack is still interested in pursuing his investigations. Jennifer enters and is angry with Jack for trying to find out what Peter was saying. He reassures her that he has no intention of pursuing it and she reminds him of the consequences if he does. At that moment, Sarah arrives on the doorstep. Jack manages to hide her from Jennifer and Peter, but she refuses to go back to Aremid without him. He has no choice but to let her spend the night in his bedroom secretly.

Lucas calls Sami and tells her Carrie isnt in Miami. He tells her to find out whats going on while hes on his way back to Salem. Sami realises Vivian is behind Carries non-appearance in Miami and can therefore only assume that she is at Green Mountain Lodge with Austin. She flies into a panic and calls Austin, who runs after a distraught Carrie rather than answer the phone. He finds her in the storm and they kiss. Sami calls the lodge and finds out that Carrie is indeed there and also that Austin is having dinner with her. Jamie threatens to call Marlena when Sami goes to drive to the lodge in the storm, so Sami must escape when shes not looking. She takes Lucas car, and she is well on her way by the time Lucas arrives at the pub.
Francis tries to strike a bargain with Tony, telling him that hell delay the annulment if Tony will delay his murdurous plan. He agrees if Father Francis knows for sure tonight whether he will be able to. Francis asks Kristen to stop the annulment and to postpone her plans to marry John. Kristen is very upset by this and she and John cannot believe that he would asks such a thing, despite his assurances that it would be best for everyone. John realises Francis is being pressured by someone and deduces its Tony.
Tony is told that his condition is deteriorating quicker than he expected. He refuses to go to hospital or try new medication without a guarantee that it will work . Kristen and John arrive and John accuses Tony of pressuring Father Francis. Tony denies everything, and Kristen thinks John is barking up the wrong tree. John reckons Tony is lying, but leaves regardless. Later, Tony tells Father Francis that the victim of the murder that John will be framed for is himself.

Lucas calls Sami and tells her to turn around and come back to Salem as its too dangerous to drive in such fierce weather. She refuses, and crashes the car. At the lodge, Carrie tells Austin she never stopped loving him and never will. They are on the verge of making love when Lucas calls, telling them Sami was on her way but the carphone went dead and he thinks she may be in trouble. They head out to find her, hoping that Sami will be happy for them getting back together. They find Lucas and join forces to find her. they find the car wreck, but are unable to get the door open.
Determined to find out who her biological parents are, Lexie goes with Abe to speak to Celeste, but all she says is that the tests must have been wrong and that shes not adopted at all. Lexie is sure shes lying and gets very angry. She finds a photograph of herself as child on the floor which is from the box of family papers which was burned. Lexie realises that Celeste set the fire. Abe wants to take her in, but Lexie tells him not to. She vows to find out the truth.
Having told Hope to give up trying to prove herself too valuable to be taken off the Blue Moon case, Bo is unimpressed to find her there.
