Kristen is shocked when John calls her "Doc" while they are getting intimate. She relates her doubts about his relationship with Marlena to him, and he blames Tony for putting them in her head.
Tony retrieves the remote control from Stefano. The picture of the Lady in White which Tony has had reframed and remounted for Jennifer and Peter is delivered and Stefano is quite affected by it. He asks to be taken home immediately. He resists remembering the past. When they are gone, Tony demonstrates his device.
Mike is angry with Peter and jack for squabbling when Jennifer is still missing. Peter is sure Jack was talking to someone about an affair, and he finds a lady’s handkerchief on the ground. Sarah says it isn’t hers and Jack sends her and Laura back to the house while the search continues. Sarah tells Laura that the Lady in White is real and that she hopes she hasn’t got Jennifer. Laura reassures Sarah that Jennifer is in love with Peter and that Jack just won’t accept it. It begins to rain. Peter and Mike decide there’s no use going on with the search in the storm, but Jack finds Jennifer unconscious nearby.

Tony’s plan is thwarted when John and Kristen decide to leave for Aremid immediately. However, Caroline suggests he go to Aremid now too and he realises that he can stage his plan in front of all the wedding guests. When he arrives at the Red Dragon Inn, he’s happy to learn that the judge in Aremid always asks for the death penalty for murder. Lou considers the name "DiMera" to mean more trouble.
Hope finds a shell on the island and gives it to Bo for his birthday. She did the same thing years ago, apparently. They find Shawn-Douglas’ project and Hope tells Bo she’d like him to go to Aremid for Jennifer and Peter’s wedding. She calls Jude and tells him she’s going away for a few days for her cousin’s wedding. Later, he finds Hope walking along the street and asks her to get into his limousine. He gives her her paycheque, but hopes she has a nice way to thank him for it.
Jennifer remembers that she was in a cave with someone. She seems to think it was Jack until everyone explains that he was with them all night looking for her.
Mike overhears Jack and Laura discussing their affair and is stunned, despite their efforts to explain. They beg him not to tell Jennifer, and John and Kristen arrive.

Jennifer’s behaviour is worrying Peter after Jack asks her if she still has feelings for him. Sarah finds Jennifer reading Jack’s poem and declares that she was right and that she is still in love with Jack. She refutes this.
Mike reminds Jack and Laura that secrets have a way of coming out. Laura tells Mike she’s still in love with Jack, but that Jack doesn’t know how she feels. Mike fears his mother is in for a terrible let down.
Bo tells Caroline that he and Hope almost kissed on the island. She suggests that perhaps he and Hope do belong together.
Jude refuses to let Hope go and comes onto her very strongly. Thankfully, his phone rings - it is Peter. Jude’s rendezvous with Hope will have to wait. Later, Hope gets a visit from Bo while preparing for the flight to Aremid. He sees a bruise on her arm and she tells him what happened in the limousine. Furious, he storms off to deal with St Clair, but Hope stops and him and tells him that Jude got a call from someone, possibly his boss. Bo is thankful that Hope will be out of harm’s way in Aremid.
Peter asks Jude to start digging into Jack’s past for some dirt. He agrees to let Jude bump Jack off if necessary, but only as a last resort. Later, he calls for some information on Jack and tells his source he’ll be in Aremid.
Jennifer asks Jack to watch the wedding rehearsal because that’s the only way he’ll get the message that it’s over. The rehearsal gets underway and Jack interrupts it, saying it has to stop.

Jack tells Reverend Sanders that he doesn’t think Jennifer really wants to marry Peter. Both Jennifer and Peter refutethis. John takes Jack outside and the rehearsal continues. Kristen hears John tell Jack that he knows it’s hard to let a very special passion go. He is speaking of Marlena. He reassures Kristen that the special bond that he and Marlena share is one of friendship.
Mike tells Laura that she cannot have a relationship with Jack or she risks losing Jennifer’s love. Later, Jude listens to Jack and Laura discussing their secret and he reports to Peter that he may be onto something.
Kristen and John hear a voice calling "Johnny". He says it is the same voice he heard in his dreams at Maison Blanche last year, and the same voice he heard for real the first time he was there.
Sami needs one good reason to move out of the pub and in with Austin and it comes in the form of the news that Shawn has chicken pox. She asks Austin if she can move in with him, but he thinks it would be better if she stayed with someone in her family. She tells him she thinks they’ll be a couple after the baby is born and he tells her that is impossible as he still loves Carrie and his feelings for her will never change. She goes back to Roman and Marlena’s old house and has a strong contraction.

Abe has managed to get a court order which authorises Lexie to be given her birth certificate. However , Lexie’s parents’ names have been blocked out on the certificate.
Jonah jams the lock on Carrie’s apartment door while Carrie and Austin are inside. Caroline can’t find Sami and begins to worry about her whereabouts, so Jonah fixes the lock on Carrie’s door and tells her and Austin that Sami is missing. Meanwhile, Sami has gone into labour.
Hope tells Jack she thinks Jennifer is having a few doubts about getting married. Hope and Mike both agree that Jennifer hasn’t resolved her feelings for Jack. They also agree that there is something strange about Aremid and toy with the idea of suggesting to Jennifer that she postpone the wedding.
Jude learns about Laura and Jack’s affair.
