In the light of their discovery of the photograph of Celeste in Aremid, Jennifer suggests that maybe Jack was right. She and Peter go to speak to Celeste again, and she admits that perhaps she was there. They calculate that the picture was taken approximately twenty years ago. Jennifer and Peter tell Celeste that Jack thinks something is going on in Aremid, and Celeste is alarmed to hear the Lady in White mentioned. Later, Jennifer and Peter announce they are going away for a while.
Jack admits to Laura that he will have to accept it if Jennifer marries Peter. Laura becomes resigned to the fact that shell have to wait until after the wedding for her chance with Jack.
At the airport, Marlena speaks to a woman from the rehabilitation hospital to which Stefano is to be sent and becomes uncertain about sending him there, as it is understaffed and the staff who are there are overworked. She invites him to complete his therapy at her penthouse. He is overwhelmed by her generosity and toys with the possibility that his recovery may just be the beginning of something between him and Marlena.
Tony decides that he will frame John for murder, but is undecided as to who the victim of his murder will be. He makes a list of possible candidates...
Kristens test results are ambiguous and Dr Bader must confer with an expert in Chicago. In the meantime, John takes Kristen out for a romantic evening to take her mind off the whole situation, but she becomes plucky when she sees a man and his baby in the park.

In Santa Rosa, its raining and Bos not sure how much sexual tension he can handle. He calls Billie and tells her that it would be best if she can wait until theres more accomodation and the weather clears up before she joins him and Hope on the island. Carmen shows them what they wrote in the hotels guestbook on their last visit and asks them to write something new and romantic in it. Thinking of being able to remarry Billie when the divorce is finalised, Bo writes that once again, hes been given a place where all his dreams will come true. He and Hope decide to pretend theyre strangers in order to ease the tension (or something - I didnt really understand what the hell they were up to.) Carmen later asks for another photgraph of them kissing to put next to the one taken on their last visit in order show how love endures. In Salem, Billie finds her wedding ring on the floor.
Caroline is horrified to find Stefano in residence at Marlenas apartment. She leaves in a hurry and Stefano notices Carolines contempt for him. Marlena tells him that he will have to face up to everyones feelings about him. Meanwhile, Caroline finds John and tells him about Stefano. He vows to make sure that Stefano is on the first flight to New York and hurries over to the penthouse, where he tells Stefano to get out. Marlena explains to John that she can see none of the old Stefano in him and that she has to help him heal if she wants to heal herself. She reassures him that when he can walk again, hell walk out her door. Stefano, however, does not want her loyalty to him to ruin her life and has called a car and made other arrangements, hoping she considers her debt to him to be paid in full. Marlena insists that he stay.
Dr Bader tells Kristen that the new experimental procedure will not help in her case. She and John agree to enjoy their courtship until the annulment comes through.

Sami cons Austin into helping her exercise at the gym. Billie finds Carrie in a distressed state and decides its time they talked about getting her and Austin back together. She tells Carrie she saw true love in her and Austin and that she must never believe its too late.
Victor tells Austin that his ideas for a project are great, but hell need someone with more experience to work with. He suggests Carrie, telling him never to give up on love. Carrie is not so sure this is a good idea, but he begs her to help him and she agrees.
Vivian orders Ivan to destroy the videotape of her "wedding" to Victor so that he doesnt see it. However, the maid mixes them up and he destroys the wrong one. Victor invites Vivian to dinner tonight and tells her its time he stopped grieving Kates death and got on with his life. She calls Ivan and tells him to prepare the boudoir.
Sami approaches Vivian in regards to the job she promised her at Titan. Vivian tells her shes on her own - Victor wants Carrie and Austin to be together. However, Sami makes various threats about uncovering the dirt on her and Vivian eventually tells Carrie and Austin that shes decided to employ Sami.
Victor suggests that Billie fly down to Santa Rosa on the company jet and that if theres no accomodation, she and Bo can sleep on the jet. She takes him up on his offer and flies out. Later, he gets home and puts the wedding videotape in the VCR, wondering why he has never seen it before.
Bo and Hope both admit they are affected by the memories they have of the island. Word comes from the lawyer that the divorce papers are final - all they have to do is sign them. A couple who are marrying in Santa Rosa ask Bo and Hope to stand up for them, hoping some of their now legendary magic will rub off on them. Hope recalls when she and Bo renewed their vows of marriage in Santa Rosa. The same priest who renewed Bo and Hopes vows is officiating the couples ceremony. Billie arrives in Santa Rosa and sees the ceremony, thinking it is Bo and Hope who are getting married.

Bo and Hope are alerted to Billies presence on the island, but Billie has run off. She concedes that she must have been mistaken, but that there was no mistaking the look of love between them. Bo and Hope find her and explain what she saw and she is greatly relieved. Bo shows Billie the divorce papers and she sees that Hope is yet to sign them. She presses her to do so now.
Pleased with the progress that Stefano is making, Marlena makes plans for them both to go out to dinner.
Vivian and Ivan discover Victor watching the tape. Ivan deliberately spills drink all over the VCR, much to the disappointment of Victor, who was rather enjoying the tape. While Victor answers the door, Vivian tries to destroy the tape. It is Olga at the door, feeling rather amorous towards Ivan. Vivian tells Ivan to do whatever Olga wants him to as she cant afford for her to spill the beans about her "marriage" to Victor. She and Victor head out for dinner at the Penthouse Grill. When they get there, Victor is appalled to see Marlena arrive with Stefano. Victor and Vivian clearly grow quite close over dinner and Vivian calls home and tells Ivan to prepare her bedroom. Olga, however, will not let him do any work.
Jennifer is concerned that when she and Peter get married, Laura will have to live with Jack. Peter gets the impression that they are actually quite good friends, but Jennifer thinks this is ridiculous.
At the Penthouse Grill, Laura tries to hammer it into Jack that there is no hoep for him and Jennifer. He tells her hes waiting for a call from a private invistigator hes sent to Aremid. Jennifer and Peter arrive for dinner and Jennifer is confused to see her mother dining with Jack. She attempts to persuade her to join her and Peter for dinner instead, but to no avail. Jennifer and Peter also express some surprise at seeing Marlena dining with Stefano. Jennifer decides they should go and say hello, and encourages Peter to talk to Stefano about the wedding and other such things, while she asks Marlena if she knows what shes doing.
When Marlena is confronted by another person questioning her choice of dinner partner, Victor comes to her rescue. However, he warns Stefano that hell have a lot of people to answer to if he hurts Marlena. Marlena and Stefano depart shortly afterwards, and Stefano tells Marlena hell never put her in such an embarrassing position again. Victor then tells Vivian hed like to take her home, but that the night doesnt have to end there.
Peter overhears a message being taken for Jack from the private investigator in Aremid. Angry that Jack is still snooping around, Peter confronts him on the terrace. There is an argument, and Jennifer and Laura arrive on the terrace to see Peter fall over the edge of it.

Hope signs the divorce papers and gives Bo the key to their room, as shes going to get another room. She is deeply upset. She tells Carmen the truth behind her and Bos visit to Santa Rosa. Carmen urges her to fight for Bo and tells her not to leave Santa Rosa until the whole thing is resolved.
Billie is delighted to find their room is called the Room of Eternal Love but she does not know why it is called that. She is shocked when Bo finds himself unable to make love to her inside. Instead, he takes her outside, promising a better time.
Olga finds Vivians marriage certificate under her pillow while Ivan is preparing her room for her and Victor. Ivan manages to get it off her before she can read it, but she knows that Vivian is up to no good and that she will pay for staeling the heart of her man Ivan. Downstairs, Victor and Vivian get home and Victor invites Vivian to come upstairs with him. Ivan interrupts and takes Vivian aside to tell her that Olga saw the certificate. She is annoyed, and orders him to handle the situation while she enjoys her evening with Victor. However, Olga has figured out the truth about the "wedding" and interrupts Vivian and Victors romantic evening to tell Victor that his wedding rehearsal was a real wedding and that hes therefore been married to Vivian for the best part of eight months now.
Peter lands on a ledge below the terrace, but his unconscious body is close to rolling off it. Jennifer is furious with Jack. Laura fetches Mike and a nurse hes dining with. Jack climbs down on a rope and tells Mike that Peter has a weak pulse and that his head is bleeding. The emergency services arrive and Peter is taken to hospital. Laura thanks Jack for his bravery and selflessness, but Jack says that while he wants Peter out of Jennifers life, he didnt want anything like this to happen. At the hospital, Jennifer tells Jack very angrily that shell never forgive him for this. She will not be convinced by Laura or Jack that Peter fell and wasnt pushed. Mike reports that its not looking good as he should have regained consciousness by now, but hasnt. Mike also notes how much Laura cares about Jack. Jennifer will be holding Jack responsible if Peter dies. She is sure she saw him push Peter, and is not eased by the news that Jack had hired a private investigator to go to Aremid.
