Tony is told by the doctor that he has a rare blood disease for which there is no cure. He is told that treatment may prolong his life for a while, but he goes into denial and demands that they run the tests again.

In order to get Carrie and Austin apart, Sami pretends to be upset and tells Carrie that some guys at the picnic were calling her a slut and a liar. Austin asks Lucas to make sure no one takes advantage of Carrie as he doesn’t want her getting involved with the wrong guy. Carrie tells Austin that Sami is upset and he decides to bid for her hamper at the auction. Lucas tells Carrie that if Austin thinks he has any chance at all of getting back with her, then he will never be motivated enough to stay by Sami’s side.

The computer thieves shot someone on their last job and need to know the quickest way out of town. They tie Hope up and she tries to convince one of them, Jerry, that she can make sure the other one, Clint, is the only one charged if he releases her. He eventually agrees to help her, but Clint catches them as they are about to make good their escape. He tells them the security guard they shot has dies. Abe has also learned this news and tells Bo that he needs him on the case right now. Bo is glad that Hope isn’t involved, but Abe is worried when he discovers that Hope has missed her call...

Though Lou tells her to stay away from Jack, Sarah makes a deal with him to help him find the Lady in White if he tells her all about the world outside Aremid. They go to explore the Blake house, and when Sarah goes to get some sandwiches from the pub, Jack falls asleep on the sofa. The Lady in White hovers over him.

Peter tells Kristen of his dreams about Aremid and she tells him to let Jack investigate as much as he likes as he cannot prove what’s not true.

Tony’s test confirm the original diagnosis.

Bo begins to worry when he learns that Hope has missed her call. He finds a fingerprint which belongs to Clint at the scene of the last theft. Meanwhile, Abe tells Billie that Hope has gone missing.

Clint orders Jerry to tie Hope up again, but while they wait for their buyer to arrive she works at freeing herself and when she does she calls the station. The phone is answered by Shawn-Douglas, who has been left in Abe’s office on his own. She manages to tell him she’s being held hostage by Jerry and Clint before she is caught by them, cut off and knocked unconscious.

Laura tells Lexie she may have to come to terms with the fact that she may never find out her family’s secret.

Half asleep, Jack thinks the Lady in White is Sarah acting fool again, but he wakes up fully and she scuttles away. Sarah gets back from the pub with the sandwiches and they decide the house is too freaky and leave.

Jennifer deduces that Jack is in Aremid, but when she calls there to tell him to leave, Sarah tells her that Jack isn’t there. Meanwhile, Jack offers a reward of $5000 for information on Aremid, its past and the Lady in White. Laura calls Jack, afraid something must have happened to him when Jennifer told her he wasn’t there. He has arranged to talk to a man, Mark, who is interested in his reward. However, Mark has fallen foul of the Lady in White and has been killed.

Celeste tries to persuade Peter to have the wedding in Salem, and he wonders if she was the one trying to keep him and Jennifer away from Aremid. However, he does ask Jennifer what she thinks of the idea of getting married in Salem, pointing out that it would be easier to organise here. He leaves the choice up to her, and she decides she would still like to get married in Aremid.

Shawn-Douglas tells Billie he wants things to be the way they were between him, Bo and Hope. He runs off when Bo and Abe call the station and tell them they are getting close to the thieves. Billie follows and they find Abe. Shawn-Douglas refuses to return to the station, and while Abe agrees to let them sit in the car, Bo is not happy to see them so close to danger.

Clint and Jerry have to leave town with only half of their payment. When Hope comes around, they handcuff her to a pole and Clint orders Jerry to kill her. He cannot though, and there is a ruckus going on outside. Clint goes to investigate and discovers a tramp (Bo) who he dismisses as unimportant. He goes somewhere and tells Jerry that he will kill both him and Hope if Hope is not dead by the time he returns. Hope implores Jerry to save them both. She can see Bo watching from outside the warehouse. Jerry runs off when Clint returns to kill him, but not before inadvertently starting a blaze. Bo jumps through the window and deals with Clint, but Hope is handcuffed to the pole. He struggles to get her out while Abe, Bo and Shawn-Douglas wait helplessly outside for the fire department to arrive. Bo eventually emerges with an unconscious Hope and pleads with her to live. He tells her he loves her as Billie watches on...

Abe reassures Billie that Bo is just worried about Hope. The paramedics arrive and Bo goes in the ambulance with Hope while Billie and Shawn-Douglas follow with Abe. At the hospital, Billie overhears Shawn-Douglas tell Alice that he wants him, Bo and Hope to be a family again. News comes that Hope is going to be fine and she is to be kept overnight for observation. Billie feels left out when she goes with Shawn-Douglas to see her.

Bo explains to Hope that all the feelings from the explosion came rushing back to him and that is why he said the things he did. Alice tells Hope she thinks Bo meant what he said but is just unable to admit it. Abe tells Bo that Billie heard everything he said to Hope. He reassures Billie that he loves her and that nothing is ever going to change that.

Sami asks Carrie to be the baby’s godmother. She agrees. Lucas suggests again to Carrie that if Austin thought she’d moved on, then he’d move on too. Carrie cannot bring herself to lead someone on in that way, so Lucas suggests that she pretend she’s dating him.

Tony tells the specialist from Europe that he wants to undergo the risky experimental treatment, despite warnings of the severe side effects.

Kristen agrees to produce a play at the community centre. Tony tells her she can look over some of his books of plays, but John accompanies her to Tony’s house as he doesn’t trust him. He is not home when they arrive and they let themselves in. Unfortunately, Tony has left the diary in which he is writing down his plot to kill John on his desk.

Billie suggests that Bo spend some time alone with Shawn-Douglas. When Bo asks Alice if he can use the cabin on Smith Island, Alice sends Hope there as well. Bo is surprised by her appearance, but Shawn-Douglas is delighted. Billie, meanwhile, receives a letter offering her a job in Europe along with a cheque for a very large sum of money.

Carrie tells Austin to take Sami out to the dinner they won at the Titan picnic. He agrees, but tells her he won’t give up on her as long as he knows she still loves him. Carrie agrees to try out Lucas’ plan for one night and they go to the Penthouse Grill, where Austin and Sami are dining with Jonah and Wendy. All are surprised to see Carrie and Lucas together.
