Hope asks Jennifer if shes sure marrying Peter is the right thing to do and if its possible that she still loves Jack. Peter overhears Jennifer pondering whether she should postpone the wedding.
Mike tells Jack that Laura thinks they have a chance together. Jack goes to see Laura, who is upset and admits she thought they would have a chance. She asks him to hold her one last time. Meanwhile, Jude has told Peter about Jacks affair with Laura. Peter sends Jennifer to talk to her mother about her doubts about postponing the wedding, knowing that Jack is with Laura in her room at the pub.
Stefano has a memory of a woman. He wonders who she is, and why she spoke of John Black in the memory.
John hears his name called again outside the pub and accosts the Parrot Man, whos dressed in white for protection against the Lady in White. He says there are never any happy brides in Aremid.
Carrie and Austin find Sami unconscious at the old house.

Carrie calls an ambulance, and on the way to the hospital, Sami thinks her immense pain is God punishing her for being a horrible person.
Abe tells Bo that Jude has left town suddenly and he panics when they learn he is in the vicinity of Aremid. Bo heads there and books himself the last room at the Red Dragon Inn.
Jack returns to Lauras room and finds her crying in her lingerie. He holds her, and after she has spilt coffee on his shirt and he has taken it off, Jennifer comes upon the shocking scene of her mother and her ex-husband kissing on the bed.

Jennifer accuses Jack of trying to seduce her mother. She is appalled when Laura defends Jack and Laura explains about theie affair at the Meadows. Jennifer tells Laura she doesnt believe anything she says now and she tells Jack that she doesnt care if she never sees his face again.
Tony leaves his diary in the reception hall. The Lady in White finds it, but Tony returns for it before she can read it.
Dr Bader must perform a caesarean section to get Samis baby out. Caroline and Maggie refuse to drink the coffee that Stefano has arranged for everyone waiting for news on Samis baby. News comes that the baby is in distress and that the caesarean is to be performed. Marlena tells Carrie that if she still loves Austin, then nothing, not even the baby, should stand in her way.

Carrie tells Marlena about her promise to God. Meanwhile, Samis baby is born and is named William, after Billie. Later, Carrie goes to speak to Austin about getting back together, while the nurses at the station are alerted to a crisis in the nursery with the Reed baby.
Celeste realises Stefano is beginning to remember his past.
Caroline sees that Lexies birth certificate says she was born at University Hospital, while Caroline recalls that her parents went away and came back to Salem with her. Lexie recognises the shoes Celeste is wearing are the same as ones worn by a new employee at the Hall of Records. She follows her there and saves a document she is about to shred. However, Lexie does not understand what it says.
Peter shows Jennifer the arbor in which they are to be married. Later, he signs over the Blue Moon to Jude as way of payment for his help, and also to disassociate himself with the shady club. Jude accidentally leaves the deed in the arbor and Jack finds it. However, Jude returns for it and knocks Jack over the head to retrieve it. An oil lamp is knocked over and the arbor goes up in flames with Jack unconscious inside.
Upstairs in the house, Jennifer has decided that she will marry Peter tomorrow, while outside the Lady in White howls with anguish as the arbor burns.

Lucas tells Sami that Marlena encouraged Carrie to take Austin back. Meanwhile, Carrie tells Austin she doesnt want to be angry anymore and is about to go when they receive news that there is a crisis with the baby. The baby has developed a bacterial infection. Austin blames himself for the illness because he didnt get Sami to the hospital on time.
Jennifer, Peter and Laura realise the arbor is on fire. Peter goes in to rescue the body while Laura sounds the fire alarm. Everyone in town is notified. Peter tosses up whether or not he should rescue Jack as he thinks he started the fire. Ultimately, however, he does. Jack thanks Peter for rescuing him, but Peter has called the police and Jack is arrested for arson. He denies starting the fire, but the evidence certainly makes it look like he did. Even Hope runs to his defense, but Jennifer tells her he had an affair with Laura. Jack is locked in a cell in the basement of the pub.
Tony takes the opportunity to set up his murder device while everyone is occupied with the fire. Jude sees Hope in Aremid. Laura and Jacks affair is common knowledge by the end of the episode.
