Description: Manhattan is a short (compared to the rest of his clan) gargoyle, with bronze skin and blue hair. Unlike most gargoyles, his wings are two membranes stretching from his arms to his thighs, like a flying squirrel. He also has unusually large eyes and a young-looking face.
Abilities: In addition to the typical powers of gargoyles (claws and talons that can rend steel and stone, a prehensile tail, gliding ability, eyes that glow when he's angry, and 'stone sleep'), he is exceptionally agile, even as gargoyle go. He can even walk on walls and ceilings without digging in with his claws. He is also very intelligent, and proficient with technology.
Equipment: Manhattan carries no equipment with him.
Likes: Friendly people, technology, honor, Alexander Fox Magnatos.
Dislikes: The Pack, dishonorable people, and the Quarrymen.
Personality: Kind of nervous and shy when you first meet him, but he gets used to new people very quickly. He is very friendly and trusting, almost too much so.
Origin: Manhattan was originally born in 10th Century Scotland, but in 994 AD, he and his clan were betrayed and frozen in stone for 1000 years, being awakened in 1994 AD when their castle was risen above the clouds and placed on the Aerie Building, fulfilling the terms of the stone sleep spell. He soon discovered that the spell had somehow altered him, giving him unusual abilities. He gained exceptional agility and the ability to walk or crawl on vertical or upside-down surfaces. He took the name Manhattan after his rookery brothers chose names, but when Halcyon Xavier formed the clan into the X-Gargoyles, he kept his name instead of adopting a code name like most of the rest of the team. His skills in technology have proven very useful to his clan. After the Pack tricked him into endangering himself and the clan leader Titan, Manhattan gained a hatred of that group. When Eric Magnatos reconciled with the clan, Manhattan became good friends with his son, Alexander Fox Magnatos, and has become tolerant of former Pack leader Fox.
