Part 6: Rumors in the Town
"Weere Here!" Shouted Kento.
"watch out little town."Whispered Rowen.
"Hey!" Said kento,"I heard that!"
"Well guys now that were here, what are we gonna do?" Asked Sage
"Hang I guess. Every man for himself" Shrugged Ryo.
"Bookstore" said Rowen.
"Food" murmurred Kento
"Incense" Said Sage" I'm outta "morning mist"
"The bay" Smiled Sai.
"Haven't you had enough of the lake?' Asked Kento.
"nope"
"Relaxation" sighed Ryo." Peace from all my buds, ok everybody meet
back here in two hours"
"Yes Mom" Replie Rowen and Kento dutifly.
So they headded off. Ryo walked to a news stand where he baught a news
paper and headed towards a cafe.
"Can I get you anything?" Asked a waitress who's hair was covered
completely by a kerchief.
"Um, ice tea please" mumbled Ryo.
Ryo glanced down at the paper and did a double take. The headline read:
Mystery Shadow Poeple Sighted. The article went on to tell about some
locals claim to have seen shadow people fighting with blades near the
forrest. Others claim that the shadows climb trees and vanish. The
police were dismissing all claims of shadow poeple as a hoax.
Wow, thought Ryo, maybe thoose shadows are the same ones that we saw.
What should I do about it thought? Then Ryo had an idea; Rowen's a
brain he'll help me out.
So Ryo went off in search of Rowen, but he didn't get far because Rowen
bumped into him.
"Oh Hi Ryo, Sorry 'bout that. I found some really interesting stuff
about alleged "shadow poeple" I thought you should check it out."
"I found some stuff too." Said Ryo, the whole dissapearing people thing
had been troubling him lately.
"C'mon then let's go round up the guys and go on a shadow hunt"Pleaded
Rowen.
" Um Rowen don't ya kinda think it's a little bit odd to go hunting for
shadow creatures?" Wondered Ryo.
"Nope not at all, let's go get the Guys."
Ryo just sighed heavily. Rowen and his mysteries, thought Ryo.
