First of all, these two are great. Jim seemed a bit more comfortable and was joking around. Roger seemed a bit quiet, . . .which surprised me, I guess because he's probably the most widely known star there. (again, no picts that were scannable)

Q-Roger: When Fitscairn was killed did you think your roll in Highlander was over?

A: Well, it was great to come back. I'd had too much fun playing Fitzcairn. It was basically a wait and see ordeal.

Q-Jim: What was your first influence of the Blues?

A: I remember truck farmers coming in the early summer and they'd walk up the street with (he sings this,. . *gasp* that voice!) "Straw-berries, straw-berries" His first influence was Jimmy Reed. Chuck Berry also lived in his neighborhood.

Q-Jim: Have you felt like a role model (in regards to his handicap)?

A: It was more being out there so people could see him and say "Hey-this guys doing it, so can I." He doesn't want to make it an issue, just carries on with life.

Announcer (who, btw intro'd every guest after telling us no flash photography, no personal requests and all gifts go in the box at right): Jim Byrnes has recently been inducted into the British Columbia Hall of Fame.
[YEAH!!!!!]

Q: Have you two thought about playing together?

A-Jim: Come tonight and we'll see!
Roger: Actually, we were just talking about that.
Jim: Yeah, we're trying to figure something that we both know, we should think of something.

Q-Roger: Are you planning to act in the future?

A: He's planning to work on a new film "Romantic Moritz"

Q-Jim: something about his albums

A: He's re-releasing his two older ones for the States and he's going to start working on a new album shortly.

Q: What have you learned from Duncan MacLeod?

A-Jim: I've liked exploring the loyalty vs. rules issue between he and Joe,. . .but I still don't have the answer.
Roger: For myself,. . .he's full of shit. (pauses to let laughter die down). For Fitz, . . .thank God he was around!

Q-Jim: Have you thought about owning a Blues club?

A: A few years ago he owned Caf Jenco in Vancouver, but it's a lot of work.

Q: Have either of you played any practical jokes on Adrian?

A-Jim: I'm not much of a joker. . . . . .but Adrian is. :)
Roger: "The only joke I played on Adrian was having me in the series!"

Q-Jim: Which did you prefer, Wiseguy or Highlander?

A: (and personally, I thought he crafted this answer very well) He loves both. Wiseguy came right when he was looking for a break into the business. Highlander brought him and his character much more development.

Q-Roger: ?

A: "I don't plan anything. Things just happen to me. Some things have ended okay." He admits that Fitzcairn had a hard time in the modern world. He said he didn't take HL too seriously. He likes having an immortal who just wants to love beautiful women. (really, you have to imagine that in Fitz's voice to do that comment justice)

Q: How did you get involved in Highlander?

A-Jim: Just in the right place at the right time. It was just after Wiseguy finished filming that he heard he was being considered for the roll. He was originally signed for just 4 shows.
Roger: His agent called him and he thought it would be a weeks worth of work. He knew nothing at all of HL originally. He then started talking about the concepts of immortality and said: "God forbid we should live forever!"

Q: Are you planning to submit anything to the anthology (apparently many of the actors have been asked to write up some HL slant and it's going to be put together as an anthology)?

A-Jim: He's planning to write Joe's letters to his mother and sister from Vietnam. (Wow!)
Roger: "Perhaps Duncan MacLeod as a transvestite?"

Q: What is the funest thing about being an immortal?

A: (both stop to think)
Jim: No arthritis. But really, who wants to live forever?
Roger: Personally, I find it a frightening thought.

Q: Are you interested in the new series?

A-Jim: It's out of my hands, but yeah, now and then I'd like to do it.

Q-Jim: Earlier Elizabeth was asked about having Joe as a love interest, what do you think?

A: Sounds good to me!!

Really, these two were so great and so entertaining. Roger didn't talk as much, but when he did!! They were both really hilarious!
