Executive Producer Wes Craven's rise to the top of the horror genre has happened in meteoric fashion since the release of A Nightmare on Elm Street. With the recent success of Scream which starred Courteney Cox and Drew Barrymore and grossed in excess of $100 million, Craven established himself as the premiere horror storyteller.
Craven's imagery and storytelling have entranced and haunted audiences worldwide for years. He has written and helmed such films as Wes Craven's New Nightmare, nominated for Best Feature at the Independent Feature Project West's 1995 Spirit Awards, The People Under the Stairs, Shocker, the original A Nightmare on Elm Street and Swamp Thing, Craven also directed Vampire In Brooklyn, The Serpent and the Rainbow and Deadly Friend. Craven made his film debut with two seminal genre films: Last House on the Left and The Hills Have Eyes, both which he wrote, directed, and edited.
His other film and television credits include A Nightmare on Elm Street 2, The Hills Have Eyes II, Night Visions, Invitation To Hell, Nightmare Cafe and many episodes of The Twilight Zone.
Craven was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from both Wheaton College and Johns Hopkins University, the latter for his Masters degree, which is in Writing and Philosophy.
Robert Kurtzman made his feature film directorial debut in The Demolitionist, which starred Richard Grieco and Nicole Eggert. Kurtzman began his career in 1984 as make-up effects artist on such films as The Color Purple, Predator, Aliens, Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and Evil Dead II.
Within the next several years, he would go on to partner with Howard Berger and Greg Nicotero to form KNB EFX Group, Inc. This company created special effects for such feature films as Dances With Wolves, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Martin Scorsese's Casino, Eraser, Jingle All The Way, Scream, Mars Attacks! Jungle to Jungle, Wild America and Spawn.
In addition, Kurtzman co-produced Miramax's From Dusk Till Dawn and co-wrote The Demolitionist.
Producer Pierre David is Chairman and CEO of Image Organization Inc.
He began his career in Canada in 1969 when he created Mutual Films, a film production and distribution company for the Mutual Broadcasting Network. Mutual Films first operated in French Canada.
A few years later, David formed a partnership with landmark U.S. filmmaker Roger Gorman and established New World Mutual Pictures of Canada, to distribute feature films in English speaking Canada. The firm rapidly became the largest independent film distributor in Canada handling films for New World Pictures and Avco Embassy, as well as Mutual Film's European, American and Canadian acquisitions and productions.
During this period, David produced David Cronenberg's three critically-acclaimed and widely-received films -- The Brood, Scanners, and Videodrome. In addition, David produced Dirty Tricks, Visiting Hours, Of Unknown Origin and For Those I Loved.
It was in 1983 that David made the move to Hollywood and went on to produce Hot Pursuit, My Demon Lover, Quiet Cool, Internal Affairs, Deep Cover, The Perfect Weapon, Scanners II, The New Order; Martial Law, The Perfect Bride, and Scanners III, The Takeover; among many other films. David also directed Scanner Cop and Serial Killer. Producer Clark Peterson joined Image Organization in 1992 as head of Creative Affairs. Peterson also conceived the idea for Wishmaster and developed the story with producer Pierre David and writer Peter Atkins.
In addition, he has been responsible for the Image Productions of Cupid, and co-produced films such as The Wrong Woman, The Secretary, The Paperboy, Stalked, The Force, Dead Cold, Daddy's Girl, The Nurse and Stranger in the House.
Before joining Image, Peterson served as an executive at Walt Disney Studios and several other independent production and distribution companies.
Producer Noel A. Zanitsch has been Vice President of Production for Image Organization, Inc since 1992. Zanitschs other producing credits include Man of her Dreams, Kid Cop, and Martial Outlaw. She has also served as Co- Producer on a number of films including The Nurse, Daddy's Girl, The Dentist, Voodoo, Serial Killer, Scanner Cop II, The Secretary, Open Fire, The Force, Scanner Cop I, Distant Cousins, Bounty Tracker and Mission of Justice. Prior to her current post as V.P of Production, Zanitsch was Image Organization's Vice President of Acquisitions and International Marketing.
Zanitsch has been with Image Organization since 1988.

Writer Peter Atkins was born in Liverpool, England and had dreams of becoming a rock star while growing up. At 19 years old to earn extra money, he formed a theatre group with horror icons Clive Barker and Doug (Pinhead) Bradley. When neither one of his hobbies financially supported him, writing was the next best thing.
Among the films he was responsible for writing are Hellraiser:Bloodline, Fist of the Northstar and Hell on Earth.
His television credits include Inside Out for Propaganda and Perversions of Science for HBO. He has also written the novels Morningstar and Big Thunder for Harper Collins.
Director of Photography Jacques Haitkin is a graduate of the New York University Film School. Wishmaster marks the reunion of Craven and Haitkin. Haitkin served as Director of Photography on the first two Nightmare on Elm Street movies. Haitkin counts among his many film credits Top of the World, Buried Alive II, Assignment Berlin, Rattled, The Big Squeeze, Two Bits and Pepper, Bloodsport II, One Good Turn, Fist of the Northstar, Evolver, The Force, Scanner Cop, Relentless II, Mom & Dad Saved the World, Shocker, The Ambulance and Nightmare on Elm Street I - II.
Production Designers Doriari Vernacchio and Deborah Raymond joined together to create the Scenic Art Company. Together they count among their many film credits Phantoms, Jury Duty, Normal Life, Chameleon, Heilraiser Bloodline, Judicial Consent, Samantha, Frozen Assets, Leprechaun, Meatballs IV, Scanner Cop and Servants of Twilight.
Their television credits include the MOW's Girls in Prison, Shake Raffle and Rock, Kids Killing Kids, Writing on the Wall, Indian Summer, Lies of the Hearts and Distant Cousins.

He also served as an assistant editor on Back To The Future, Footloose, Staying Alive, Airplane Il-The Sequel and Fandango.
Visual Effects Supervisor Tom Rainone is a multi-talented horror connoisseur with producing and directing as part of his forte. At the age of twelve, Rainone shot his first 30 minute Super 8 horror movie, and from there continued onto the University of Texas where he studied filmmaking and theatre "to better understand both sides of the camera." Rainone's last college 16mm effort, Armageddon Fabulosa, earned him a Student Academy Award nomination before graduating with a BA in film.
Rainone's credits working as a Special Effects Coordinator range from the cult classic Bride of Reanimator to Disney's Honey, I Blew Up the Kid. As a Visual and Creature Effects Supervisor and 2nd Unit Director, Rainone served on the likes of 20th Century Fox's Freaked; Clive Barker's Lord of Illusions for United Artists; Trimark's The Warrior of Waverly Street and Return of the Living Dead Ill; in addition to, The Guyver, Necronmicon, The Toymaker, and Initiation, Silent Night Deadly Night Pt 4. Furthermore, Rainone was Visual Effects Supervisor and Associate Producer on Miramax's Children of the Corn Ill, and produced the visual effects for Republic Pictures' Night of the Scarecrow. Prior to Wishmaster, Rainone wrapped as Make-Up Effects Supervisor for Miramax's Phantoms.
Aside from his film credits, Rainone has produced and directed several major award winning music videos for the likes of Ministry, The Ramones, and Motorhead. His official next assignment is acting for Spain's notorious horror director Jess Franco in Lady Frankenstein.
Rainone is currently serving as Visual Effects Supervisor on H.B.O.'s The Rat Pack.
The responsibility of bringing the DJINN to life was placed squarely on the soldiers of the KNB EFX Group. Formed in 1988 by Robert Kurtzman, Greg Nicotero and Howard Berger, KNB is considered to be one of the hottest special effects companies in Hollywood.
