That's The Guy -Season Finale

Air Date: May 19, 1999

Dylan tries to hunt down the rapist, and when the culprit eventually comes face to face with his victim, a gun is fired, ending the ninth season of Beverly Hills, 90210 with a shattering bang. Meanwhile, Donna is seduced by Wayne, while David's friendship with Dylan is put to a test over Gina. To mark his newspaper's newfound success, Steve throws a party featuring the band Collective Soul as the special musical guest. (fox)

Kelly finally tells Matt about being raped. He and Dylan work together to try and find the rapist by offering reward money, but their leads end up being scams. Kelly finds some tranquility by spending time with her sister, but nonetheless begins carrying pepper spray, mace, and a gun in her new state of fear and anger.

David and Gina become closer after she comes clean about her bulimia, but David is outraged when he sees a reunited Dylan and Gina making love. Donna has a one-night stand with Wayne, who then surprises her by saying he's leaving town. Noah, hurt by this development, is willing to mend the ways but Wayne shows up again, putting Donna in between the two men again. (fox61)

Agony

Air Date: May 12, 1999

Mental anguish sets in after the rape as news of the attack begins to spread. Meanwhile, Kelly withdraws from Matt, who suspects she is still seeing Dylan. David pursues Gina as she bends under the pressure of competition and faces a former ice skating rival (guest star Pasha Grishuk). Donna is forced to decide between Wayne and Noah. (fox)

Kelly is in shambles, struggling to deal with having been raped. She withdraws from Matt, causing him to suspect something is going on with her and Dylan. Dylan and Donna are the only ones to whom Kelly does confess the truth, and they come to her side. Matt, meanwhile, defends a client who allegedly stole a stereo but was arrested by cops who violated his rights. Only we know that this client is the man who raped Kelly.

Donna must choose between destroying her relationship with Noah, or pursuing something with Wayne.

Steve becomes insecure when he finds out one of Janet's ex-boyfriends was an artist. In retaliation, Steve tries to bring out his own artistic side in his photography.

Now that Gina and Dylan are no longer together, David decides to pursue Gina. The stress this new relationship causes only adds to Gina's unhappiness about her skating ability. (fox61)

Dog's Best Friend

In an episode not to be forgotten, Kelly is raped. Kelly puts herself in a risky situation in order to help a friend. Gina has to confront an old demon when a secret from her past is revealed. Donna is pressured into a precarious position by Noah and Wayne. Janet goes on a blind date, arranged through a computer dating service. (fox)

Dylan and David go on a road trip and on the trip, Dylan has a one-night stand with a woman to prove to David that he's over Kelly. Meanwhile, Gina has to deal with her own demons. (Bulimia) Donna, like Dylan, is also caught between two people, as she struggles to deal with her feelings for her male model, Wayne, while at the same time answering Noah's persistent questions about moving in together.

Steve and Janet are working on their latest brainchild: The Love Fisher, a computer program which supposedly finds one's perfect match. Janet finds hers and meets him, just to see what he's like, even though he is also in a relationship. Steve, although upset, promises not to do the same, but eventually does meet up with his "perfect match" after seeing a picture of the gorgeous woman. (fox61)

The End Of The World As We Know It

Air Date: April 28, 1999

Kelly and Matt, while babysitting a sleeping Erin, are inadvertently captured on tape via the "Nanny Cam" when a quiet night watching a rental movie turns into a heated sexual romp. The tape falls into the hands of Dylan and Gina. Dylan's jealous reaction to the tape confirms Gina's suspicions about Kelly and Dylan's affair in Mexico.

Matt, with financial backing from Dylan, is suing several petroleum refinery companies which seem to have been responsible for a high percentage of cases of cancer in children in nearby communities.

When Gina forces Dylan to tell Matt about the Mexico trip, it seems like Kelly and Matt are doomed to break up as Gina and Dylan are. When Kelly reminds Matt that he was with his wife at the time, Matt lets the past be forgotten, and the two decide to stay together. While Gina and Dylan break up, Dylan and Kelly agree to mend their longtime, albeit strange, friendship.

David finds himself again with Addie, the recovering sex addict, and the two manage to ignore their own desires and opt to take the slower, more passionate route. (fox61)

Local Hero

Air Date: April 21, 1999

Dylan and Kelly, meeting behind the backs of Matt and Gina, become involved in an attempted mugging of a pregnant woman when Dylan attacks the perpetrator. To hide the secret meeting, Kelly tells the police Steve Sanders was the hero and Steve must deal with keeping the reality from a very impressed Janet. Eventually Dylan and Kelly reveal the truth to Matt and Gina and agree to break up those respective relationships in order to be with each other.

Gina is offered a skating broadcasting deal with ESPN2 and Matt steps in to broker a deal. Matt's overconfidence and rejection of all the offers causes ESPN2 to reject her entirely.

Noah pursues his long-lost half sister Cindy. David goes out with a sex addict named Addie, and is disappointed to find out that she won't have sex with him. It turns out that she's recovering, and has been abstinate for the last three years. David decides he'd like to pursue a normal relationship with her. (fox61)

I Wanna Reach Right Out & Grab Ya

Air Date: April 14, 1999

Kelly is put under hypnosis and confesses her true feelings for Dylan -- which jeopardizes both her future with with Matt and Dylan's relationship with Gina. Meanwhile, Gina gets more than she bargained for when she is asked to help out a friend from her skating days, Oksana Baiul. Donna gets terrible news from her parents and David meets his radio idol, Sonny Sharp. (fox)

Matt and Dylan team up against Matt's client in a pool game, that later leads to a poolhouse brawl, drawing the two somewhat closer. Gina, tries to help her friend Oksana Baiul by looking after her house, and is deflated when Oksana's personal assistant tells her what a horrible job she's done.

On Magic Night at After Dark, Kelly is hypnotized and when asked who she'd like to be stranded on a deserted island with, she says Dylan. Gina is infuriated, realizing something's still going on, and that Kelly has been lying to her. When Gina walks out she is nearly accosted by a serial rapist who had helped her change a flat tire. Fortune Cookie

Air Date: April 7, 1999

Kelly's chance to meet her childhood idol is ruined when Gina impersonates her in an effort to make Dylan jealous. When a vicious rumor surfaces about her favorite high school teacher, Donna confronts a girl from her past. David and Claudia experience pre-wedding jitters when they are required to meet with a lawyer. (Fox)

David and Claudia decide to go ahead with their plans for a fake wedding in order to keep Claudia from having to leave the country. Donna is forced to confront the possibility that one of her favorite teachers in high school is molesting kids at the school. Dylan arranges for Kelly to win a contest in which she gets to meet her childhood rock and roll idol, Cole Younger. Kelly convinces Matt to do a commercial in an attempt to generate clients. In the process, Kelly attempts to change Matt's appearance. This leads Matt to think that Kelly is not satisfied with him the way he is. (fox61)

The Leprechaun

Air Date: March 17, 1999

Dylan and Noah face-off when a third party offers to buy the Peach Pit. Donna and Kelly fight about Kelly's decision to hire a publicist for their store, while Gina fans the fire between the two. The joke is on Steve after he pulls a St. Patrick's Day prank involving a little green man running through Beverly Hills. (fox)

Kelly, unhappy with her role as partner with Donna in the clothing store, hires a publicist to help the store. Donna disagrees with this and the two argue.

David continues to pursue a relationship with Holly who works at the After Dark until he finds out that she will lose her visa unless she gets married or finds a better job.

Kelly and Matt continue to reestablish their relationship, but Matt is conflicted by the thought of signing a pre-nuptial agreement.

A prank that Steve uses to promote the paper using a Leprechaun backfires and he and Janet deal with a distraught man who need money for his son's surgery. Steve and Janet rally the resources of the paper to generate donations.

Dylan decides to take his life more seriously and commit himself to making his relationship with Gina work. (fox 61)

Bobbi Dearest

Air Date: March 10, 1999

Dylan falls lifeless into the water after an accident at sea -- Meanwhile, Gina and Donna are at odds when Gina sues Donna's mother for mismanagement of her trust fund. Kelly deals with the aftermath of her Mexican interlude with Dylan and is forced to choose between her feelings for him and Matt. (fox)

Gina decides to sue Donna's mother, Felice, for mismanagement of her trust fund. Although it isn't really her fault, Felice agrees to replace the fund out of the goodness of her heart. Donna and Noah reconcile and begin to rebuild their relationship. Kelly and Dylan are forced to deal with the fact that they slept together while in Mexico.

Dylan's sister Erica shows up with her new boyfriend. While they are staying at his home, he discovers that Erica's boyfriend is a white supremecist. David decides to use his radio show to find the perfect woman. Steve comes into possession of a "little black book" of a Hollywood Madame and proceeds to use the names to uncover the dirty secrets of the stars. (Fox61)

Slipping Away

Air Date: March 3, 1999

Dylan and Kelly slip away to Mexico in order to smuggle back medicine for Matt's wife as her condition worsens. When passion overtakes them, their trip becomes even more dangerous. Meanwhile, Lauren makes a decision that will forever effect Kelly's relationship with Matt. Donna and David are busted when Noah finds out about their secret kiss. When Janet's parents insist that she have an Asian boyfriend, she rebels and moves in with Steve.

David continues to pursue a relationship with Donna, but Donna is hesitant. The two of them agree to go out on a date, but Donna cannot take her mind off Noah. The situation is further complicated when Noah discovers that Donna and David had kissed while Noah was still Donna's boyfriend.

Lauren's condition worsens and she decides that she would rather die than return to her schizophrenic state. However, because the drug is killing her, Lauren's doctor refuses to continue her prescription. In order to remain on the medication, Dylan and Kelly agree to go across the border to Mexico in an attempt to obtain Lauren's drugs. (Fox61)

Survival Skills

Matt is devastated to learn that the medicine that keeps Lauren sane is killing her. Together, they must decide if she will stay on the deadly medicine or return to the terror of her mental illness. Meanwhile, Dylan finds himself torn between spending time with Gina and the now available Kelly. Who will win his heart? Donna, unable to forgive Noah, finds that the embers of her relationship with David may still be burning when he makes a play to get her back. Steve and Janet get a lesson from the birds and the bees when they attempt to chaperone a camping trip. (fox)

A secret from Matt's past is revealed and could end his relationship with Kelly forever. Meanwhile, Dylan fights to remain drug-free as he begins community service work -- doing hard labor under the watch of a tyrannical, racist foreman. After Noah cheats during a game of strip poker, Donna and Steve up the ante -- and get carried away with a practical joke that turns on them in the end. (fox)

It is discovered that Matt has a wife, Lauren, who has been in an institution for the past few years has been institutionalized. Recently, her condition has miraculously improved and she has re-entered Matt's life. Matt is thrilled to see her, but has since become involved with Kelly. These events occur unbeknownst to anyone else until Gina sees Matt with Lauren and assumes he is cheating.

Dylan is working hard at his recovery and is doing community service at a demolition site as part of his plea bargain. Here Dylan meets Ramon, who is also doing community service. Ramon impresses Dylan and together they support each other against their tyrannical boss. (fox61)

Withdrawal

Air Date: January 27, 1999

Dylan's life hangs in the balance as he battles to overcome his drug addiction and slips into a coma. Kelly's feud with Gina intensifies when Kelly discovers the extent of Gina's involvement with Dylan. Meanwhile, Steve lands in the doghouse after he loses track of Janet's pure-bred dog which is in heat. (fox)

Dylan is confronted by his friends about his drug use and reckless behavior. Dylan shows genuine remorse and agrees to quit using heroin. In an attempt to quit "cold turkey," Dylan runs off to be by himself. By the time his friends find him, Dylan is in terrible shape and is taken to the hospital where he falls into a short-lived coma.

Steve gets into trouble when he loses track of Janet's pure-bred dog, which happens to be in heat. By the time the dog is found, it has been impregnated by a mutt, which gets Steve in even more trouble with Janet.

Kelly's feud with Donna's cousin, Gina, intensifies. (fox61)

Trials and Tribulations

Air Date: January 20, 1999

While tracking down his nemesis, mobster Tony Marchette, Dylan's drug habit gets out of control and leads him to jail. Donna and Noah throw a party for Matt which ends in a near tragedy. Kelly's relationship with Matt intensifies as her relationship with Gina deteriorates. Meanwhile, Steve is sued by the disgruntled students from the "pick up" seminar he taught. (fox)

Dylan continues his search for mobster Tony Marchette, while his drug use increases. Things take a turn for the worse when the police arrest Dylan for illegal gun possession and also find his stash of heroin. Following his arrest, Dylan promises to quit the drugs, but quickly falls back to old habits.

Kelly and Matt's relationship continues to intensify. At the same time, Kelly's relationship with Gina is becoming more strained because Gina spends more time with Dylan.

Steve is sued by all of the students of his seminar and is taken to court on a "People's Court"-type show. Steve is found guilty on the program, but he avoids having to return the money because the show pays his legal bill.

Donna's parents are out of town, so she and Noah decide to use the house and have Matt's birthday party there. (fox61)

How to be a Jerk Women Love

Air Date: January 13, 1999

Dylan reaches the breaking point and looks to drugs and to Gina for comfort when he finds that his ex-wife's grave has been moved to a secret location. Meanwhile, Gina pushes Donna to the limit when she weasels her way into an event that Donna wants to attend. Kelly and Matt reach a new stage in their relationship and Kelly must decide whether she will sleep with him or not. Steve offers a seminar on the art of thepick-up, but has to return money to his students when his advice fails to work on "How to be the Jerk Women Love." (fox)

Dylan continues to become more involved with Gina. At the same time, Dylan's attitude gets more erratic and dangerous as he falls further under the influence of heroin. Dylan reaches his breaking point when he discovers that his ex-wife's grave has been secretly moved and her body's whereabouts are unknown. This prompts Dylan to purchase a gun to kill the man who he believes is responsible for the move.

Steve decides to offer a seminar on how to master the art of the pickup. He's forced to return the money he makes on the scheme.

Matt and Kelly's relationship continues to progress, but memories of Dylan and feelings for Brandon get in the way. Eventually, Kelly comes to terms with her feelings and decides to become intimate with Matt.

Gina manipulates Donna's mother into taking her, instead of Donna, to a luncheon where JFK Jr. is speaking. (fox)

Marathon Man

Air Date: December 16, 1998

The gang catches the holiday spirit and swings the night away to the sounds of The Brian Setzer Orchestra at a dance marathon benefitting an AIDS charity. When Steve accidentally pledges more money than he can afford, he goes to hilarious lengths to derail anyone from winning the contest. Meanwhile, Gina's jealous streak shows through when Noah enlists her help to throw Donna a surprise birthday party. Kelly is torn between her feelings for Dylan and Matt, while Dylan battles his own demons. When Donna's store is robbed and Sonia, a young gang member, is wrongly blamed, Donna leads the way to clear her name. (fox)

The PPAD is hosting a dance marathon to raise money for charity. Steve accidentally pledges more money than he can afford and tries to derail anyone from winning. Noah enlists Gina's help in planning a surprise birthday party for Donna. Gina deliberately screws up the party, and all her jealousy towards Donna and her family spills out. As Kelly's Grandfather dies of emphysema, Matt upsets her when he takes on legal work for a tobacco company. Meanwhile, Kelly is torn between her feelings for Matt and Dylan. Donna befriends a young girl trying to leave a gang while Gina moves in on Donna's territory and finds a new man to set her sights on. Noah and Dylan clash and the cat's out of the bag when Steve's mother comes out on David's radio show. (Fox)

Kelly's grandfather gets worse and Kelly goes against his wishes and keeps him alive. She and Felice decide to make every day special for him, and they bring him home early from the hospital for an early Christmas. Kelly is angry with Matt for smoking and taking some legal work for a tobacco company. Dylan is busy restoring a car, and we learn later on that this is the car his wife died in. Dylan and Noah clash when Dylan almost gets in a fight at the PPAD. Gina is still intent on stealing Noah, but she may be setting her sights on Dylan, especially when Dylan helps her get a tattoo removed. (Fox61)

I'm Back Because

Air Date: December 2, 1998

As the gang tries to find out where Dylan's been and why he has suddenly returned, Dylan proves to be back in the nick of time to help David, who is accused of a crime and arrested. Meanwhile, Kelly finds out her Grandfather is terminally ill and is forced to battle her mother to make a life-or-death decision. Matt faces off with Dylan when they both try to comfort Kelly. Gina pretends to be looking out for her cousin Donna, but has ulterior motives which threaten Donna's relationship with Noah. Steve finds out a sexy secret his mother has been hiding. (Fox)

David is arrested for the statutory rape of Denise. Dylan returns to West Beverly High to see Mrs. Teasley about her student. Dylan is able to talk to Denise and her family into dropping the charges against David. Steve is upset that his mother is rumored to be dating a younger man. Kelly's grandfather is dying of emphysema and does not want to be resuscitated should he deteriorate. Grandpa gives Kelly the power of attorney, and Kelly has a difficult choice to make. During this difficult time Matt tries to be there for Kelly. Noah is trying to win himself back into Donna's graces, despite Gina's opinion. (fox61)

You Say Goodbye, I Say Hello-Vanessa debuts!

Air Date: November 18, 1998

The gang welcomes back an old friend and says hello to a newcomer: Dylan McKay returns to Beverly Hills after a three-year absence and surprises his old companions on Thanksgiving Day and Donna introduces her sexy, ice-skating cousin Gina Kincaid to everyone. Meanwhile, tragedy strikes when Noah blacks out from drinking and later realizes he may have been the drunk driver in a hit-and-run accident. David gets into hot water when he becomes involved with a mysterious fan of his radio show. Steve and Janet further define their new romantic relationship while Donna plays matchmaker with Kelly and Matt. Meanwhile, Valerie bids the gang a heartfelt goodbye as she leaves Beverly Hills after four years. (Fox)

Valerie is about to move home with her mother. Hoping to leave on good terms, she invites the gang to Thanksgiving dinner. Kelly and Donna refuse, but change their minds when Val, in a moment of weakness, confesses her molestation. Val rejects their sudden pity, but Kelly persists and the party proceeds. David sees a tearful Val off at the airport.

Donna meets up with her cousin Gina who is a featured performer with the visiting Ice Follies. Gina moved from Los Angles when she was 12 to pursue professional competition and training full-time. Spoiled, but driven, Gina makes up elaborate lies when she is fired from the show and dumped by her agent.

Noah hits bottom when he has a drunken blackout that may have resulted in a hit and run trauma to an innocent teen. Donna plays matchmaker with Kelly and Matt, as Kelly starts to warm to him. (Fox61)
