THE BOND ACTORS
Born: May 16, 1952
007 flicks: Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies
As Bond: Pierce Brosnan originally signed on to play James Bond in the eighties,
but people heard about it, and the ratings for "Remington Steele" went up, and thus he couldn't do it then.
But better now than never! I have very few complaints about Brosnan. He is developing into the role very nicely. He's tougher than Roger Moore's
Bond, and has a better sense of humor than Dalton's Bond. He is not as tough as Sean Connery, but besides that he is ideal for the role. Some people
complain that Brosnan's Bond brought the nineties with him. Whatever! Bond films in the sixties have technology we don't evn have today.
Brosnan has signed on to do one more 007 film, which does not yet have a title and is being referred to as "Bond 19." He may even do a fourth Bond film. (He better! Who could replace him?)
Post and Pre-Bond Career: When he first did "Goldeneye", many people recognized him as the guy from "Mrs. Doubtfire." He has kept very busy between "Goldeneye" and TMD, with "Mars Attacks!",
"Dante's Peak", and "The Mirror has Two Faces."
Best 007 movie: Goldeneye
