Write what ever you want to write about. ********************************************************************* NEWS AND RUMOURS ********************************************************************* - After one day of issue #8 going out I get a bunch of articles about the season finale and the last show. So here is the latest issue. It only has a few articles. *Remember tomorrow night is the season finale! - On the newsstands now is Teen Beat All-Stars: A Tribute to the Stars that keep you tuned in and it has tons of DC pictures. Also on the cover of Teen People of June is James Van Der Beek. (Thanks to batgirl for the info) ********************************************************************* ARTICLES ********************************************************************* Hi. I was just wondering if anybody else caught on to the significance of the song Joey sang in last week's episode. It was from Les Miserables, and a character named Epinine sings it in the play. Like Joey, she finds herself in love with her best friend, Marius. Marius, however, falls in love with the beautiful Cosette at first glance, while Epinine is left in the dust. The song reflects Epinine/Joey's coming to terms with this in the song. It's really funny, b/c I just saw the play a few weeks ago, and immediately I turned to my friend and whispered, "Oh my God that's Joey!!!" I think it was the perfect song for Joey to sing, kudos to the writers once again. Joey gets that trip to Paris and has to decide if she wants to go or not. Meanwhile my boyfriend Dawson, is completely troubled about what to do with Joey. He tells her not to leave, she asks for the reason why, and he can't tell her because he chokes up. Joey walks away from him, and Dawson gets al upset and all like What did I just do?!?!?! So the next morning, the day Joey is scheduled to leave, Dawson runs over to her house to catch her, she gets mad at him and while she's yelling, he cups her face with his hand and kisses her. I THINK that Joey will leave for Paris after that, not missing her lifetime chance, and tells Dawson to wait for her. All the while Pacey and Jen are whining to each other about Dawson and Joey and they end up hooking up. Then Pacey realizes that Jen is a dork, and goes out with the girl from the beauty pageant. I know that Dawson and Joey kiss...I HAVE THE PICTURE!!!!!!! I'll write my response to the finale for next time... On it, it had a clip of an interview with Joshua Jackson (Pacey Witter). I was shocked when I saw he had yellow hair!!!! I didn't get to watch the whole interview, but I really was surprised with his new look. I wonder how or if, they will incorporate that into the show. Did anyone else see this ad or was it just the NYC area? If anyone knows anything about it, mail me at Lizardmoon@aol.com. I also heard he's doing a movie with Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy). That should be interesting!! ---A faithful Pacey and Joey fan -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dearest Creekers, I just want to get an issue out into the open here. Do best friend relationships really last?...Sure I think that Dawson and Joey are really cute together but how many of you think that it will really work out? Even if they did start "dating" what would happen if it didn't work out? They would probably never be able to go back to being best friends. And if they did "date" and it didn't work out would there really be a story line? The whole show is basically Joey's' secret devotion to Dawson and his outward blindness to the fact that she is totally in love with him. Also what is up with Jen just suddenly realizing that if she can't have Dawson, no one can. I think that she was the one who messed up in the first place. Dawson was also VERY wrong for suddenly deciding that Joey was so beautiful. She was right in saying that Dawson just saw her for the "lip stick and hair-spray" that she was wearing. In a sense Joey deserves so much more than that, but maybe Dawson is the one.
