This is in reply to a girl, named Krista, who wrote an article in issue #7. She made some comments about an article I wrote in an earlier newsletter and I would just like to clarify. I said that Dawson does not look that good with either girl, but that is all I said, "look." I was not talking about compatibility or anything like that, just simply the "oh, aren't they a cute couple" scenario. Don't you ever look at two people and see if they really look good together? Well that is what I did. I saw some Dawson pictures and in them Pacey totally looked cute, like couple-cute, with both girls and Dawson just did not look as good. He just could not compete. I totally can't wait for the finale. It should be great, I hope something good actually happens and they don't leave us hanging the whole summer.....I wonder what they are going to come up with next season, it seems like they have already utilized a lot of the possible plots and angles available. I guess Kevin can handle it though, he is pretty creative! Pacey and Joey rock, gotta love the sarcasm! Don't get me wrong, I love DC, but he never shuts up about a little slut named Jennifer Lindley. He is so crazy! Joey is sending him heavy signals. At the beginning of most shows, they will be talking about relationship problems. Dawson will say something like, 'Joey, you don't know what it's like to have the person you like not like you back." Then Joey will say,"I actually do." Dawson ignores the comment and talks about Jen's perfect body, Jen's great personality. These are the acts of Dawson, the babbling idiot. If he stops talking and starts listening, he might become Dawson, the wise one. Do you agree? There are now some books about the show and the stars. One is called Dawson's Creek "The Beginning of Everything Else" another is " Meet the Stars of Dawson's Creek" the other is also about the stars of Dawson's Creek also. I have read all these books and they were very good. If you ever need a good book to read I suggest any of these books. I would have to say though the best book would have to be the on based on an episode which is Dawson's Creek "The Begging of Everything Else". I really enjoyed writing this article and hope to write another one. I don't know how many people saw that one but if you did see it didn't you think Pacey was acting funny for signing up in an all girls beauty contest. When Joey sang that song and Dawson was standing there listening to her sing he realized that he had feelings for her. But what really got to me and maybe you also is Jen finally realizes that she wants to get back together with Dawson. She is so upset because she sees Dawson having feelings for Joey and gets jealous. After what she has done to Dawson by making him jealous should Dawson get back together with Jen or should he move on and try to get with Joey? Let me know!!! I am a dedicated fan of Dawson's Creek, live approximately 45 mins. from where it is filmed, and yet, somehow - I'm not satisfied. I love the show, and believe that all of the characters work great together. But, I agree that the uncertainty of the show gives it it's edge, but I think they should stop throwing other major characters that we never see again. Take for instance, Anderson. Him and Joey could've really had something. But he was only on one episode! Joey's family disappeared, and correct me if I'm wrong but does Pacey have a family? We've seen his brother, and his father is talked about occasionally, what about his mom? And what about Jen's grandfather? Is he ever going to get well or what? I think they need to keep us more up-to-date with these things. Also, was I the only one who thought Joey's singing was great?! And that song described her life very well. I think then and there, as soon as she got off the stage, Dawson should've kissed her. And I thought the idea of having her song played at the end was a great touch. Capulet--I have a question for you: Paula Cole's song "I don't wanna wait" is the theme song for the show right? That wasn't the original theme song. What was it and who sings it?
