Write what ever you want to write about. ********************************************************************* This Week's Episode Summary ********************************************************************* #109 - "Modern Romance" Dawson and Joey start talking about how Jen and him broke up. Joey tells him not to live in the past, and to focus on the future. She starts talking about how Jen will ask him to be friends, and Dawson didn't give an answer about what he would reply to Jen. He says that "How can he be friends with someone, who every-time you see them you want them even more." Joey tells Dawson that she is not an expert on the subject, but it could be done. At Breakfast at the Leery Home, someone calls for Gale and it turns out to be Bob. Mitch gets upset that Bob calls his wife at his home. At school Jen asks Dawson if they could still be friends, and tells her that he'll think about it. In Biology class, Pacey gets his midterm back and it turns out that he failed. He had to stay after class and the teacher told Pacey that he will pass him if he does an extra-credit assignment with another student from his 6th period class. The other student turns out to be Joey. Pacey and Joey were not happy with the fact that they have to be lab partners. In the halls, Dawson tells Jen that they can still be friends. Jen tells Dawson that she has a date on Saturday with Cliff to go to the Carnival. Dawson tells her that he also has a date on Saturday to go to the Carnival. Dawson suggests a double date, and Jen agrees. Dawson asks a girl Marybeth (who has a crush on Dawson) to a date on Saturday. In the Biology room, Joey gets upset at Pacey because he was suppose to watch the snails for their project the night before and now they are dead. Pacey said that he thought that if he added another snail in the tank that maybe they would get exited and have a three some, since their project is about getting the snails to reproduce. Joey tells Pacey that the snail he added was a carnivore snail that eats other snails. At the carnival, Dawson meets Marybeth, and at that moment she finds out that it is a double date with Jen and Cliff. Marybeth gets upset and Dawson tells her a lie to keep her from leaving. At the pond, Joey and Pacey start searching for snails. Pacey asks her what she got on the midterm, and she tells him to forget about it. Pacey forgot to tie up the boat and it started to float down the stream. Joey and Pacey had to walk down the pond, because of what Pacey did. Once they got to Pacey's car, Pacey told Joey to change into a blanket so that she doesn't get sick. Pacey changes into his blanket and waits for Joey in the car. But in the car he watches Joey getting changed by looking at the mirror. Dawson tells Marybeth the truth that he still is hung up on Jen. Marybeth tells him that she really has a crush on Cliff. Pacey asks Joey about her midterm again, and she tells him that she got a 98% mark. Joey says that she wants a scholarship to go to College to leave Capeside. On the fairies-wheel, Dawson goes with Jen and they start to talk about their relationship. Jen tells Dawson that she takes back her offer to be friends. Dawson asks her why she is going out with Cliff, when Jen told him that when they broke up that she needed to have a break from men. Jen did not want to answer any of Dawson's questions. Dawson sees Joey and Pacey at the Carnival and Pacey tells Dawson that he is attracted to Joey. He asks Dawson for permission to kiss Joey, and Dawson gives him the okay. At Joey's house, Pacey kisses Joey but Joey doesn't kiss him back. Joey tells Pacey that she is not attracted to him. Dawson goes to the video store to tell Pacey not to kiss Joey, but Pacey tells him that he is too late.
