My best friend Marisol and I are sitting in the parking lot at California State University, Long Beach. I’ve just turned in my Master’s thesis and FINALLY graduated. She turns to me and says:

“Well, congratulations! What do you want to do tonight to celebrate this momentous occasion?”

And I say (with a sly grin) “ Go to Vegas?”

“Dear,” she says, “First, neither one of us have any money, the tickets are undoubtedly sold out and I doubt if my car would make it anyway. How about your second choice?”

Me: “Go to San Diego?” Boy do I have a one track mind or what?!?

She laughs “Yep, I say lets go”

So, despite the fact we wouldn’t be able to see the show, we drove down to the San Diego Sports Arena to soak up a little LOTD energy and maybe get some pictures! The following photos are the result! We met some really nice VB’ers there, Noelle, Terri, Emily and her mom…. and had a wonderful time. There were about 200 people waiting in all! The cast came out at about 11:00 and signed autographs.
