Anji turned around with some difficulty. "I'm so sorry Kellie! I've put you guys through so much! But, I just can't deal with this." Anji was still crying when she entered the living room. All five Backstreet Boys jumped up from where they'd been sitting. Anji tried to smile. "You didn't have to come," she said quietly. "Yes we did!" exclaimed Brian. "We were so worried when we saw you laying there on the pavement..." "And you felt so lifeless when I picked you up..." "Your skin was so pale when you were laying in the hospital bed..." "You're face looks beautiful..." Anji blushed and rubbed her fingers across her face. She could still feel it, even though it was almost healed and she still saw it every time she looked in the mirror. "Thank you," she said looking at the floor.
She made her way in to the room and sat down on the couch. Brian and Nick quickly joined her. Nick looked upset. "Do you hate us?" he asked finally his blue eyes filled with concern. "*Non, je ne peut pas," she said simply. "I can't hate anyone. It's just not me." Kevin smiled, "That's good. I was pretty worried when you hung up on me!" Anji blushed, "*Je m'exuse. I mean, I'm sorry. It's just..." "It's okay," Howie said quickly. "We should have called sooner. But we were scared that we'd get just that kind of reaction."
Rene suddenly sprung out of the chair she was sitting in. "Can I have your autographs?" she asked. The guys laughed. "Of course," said AJ. She ran to get paper and a pen. Anji heard Brian's stomach rumble. "Hungry?" she asked with a smile. He laughed, "I guess so." "How 'bout some pizza?" asked Kellie. "My treat." The guys shrugged. "Pizza sounds good," said Nick, "but why don't you let us pay?" "Whatever," said Kellie with a shrug. She went to order the pizza. For the next thirty minutes the eight of them talked and laughed like they had known each other there entire lives. When the doorbell rang Anji went out to get it. Nick trailed behind her asking if the delivery man would take American currency.
