TSS-101 Eric's parents are holding a party upstairs, and the gang convinces him to steal some beers from it; with some ingenuity and luck, he manages. Eric learns he will get to drive the station wagon, and Kelso blurts out they can use it to go to the (Todd Rundgren) concert. Since he is trying to break up with Jackie, whom no one likes, and now she knows, she has to get invited, too. On the way to the concert, the battery dies, and the gang is forced to give up two of the tickets to the mechanic to pay for the new one. Obviously, Jackie's was the first ticket given up; Kelso agreed to give up his, since he started taking a new liking to her. After returning, Donna kisses Eric, their first after knowing each other for as many years as they have. Guests: Paul Kreppel - Mr. Burkhart Wayne Pere - Randy 2. "Eric's Birthday" 30 Aug 1998 P: Franco E. Bario D: David Trainer W: Bonnie Turner & Terry Turner prod. no. TSS-102 Eric's sister Laurie visits from college, and a smitten Kelso fantasizes that she feels the same way. Eric suspects a surprise 17th birthday party (due to Kitty's not-so-subtle planning and his sister's arrival) which he does not want. Donna gets gift tips Jackie, the only person she told about the kiss with Eric. With the gang in the basement, Kitty calls everyone but Eric upstairs. When he is called upstairs, he knows why. Red decides to make Eric's party a little more special by making Kitty and him leave to visit the Pinciottis. Kitty imagines all sorts of bad things the kids are doing to the house, while Donna and Eric do not replay their kiss, since everyone else is spying on them. Guest: Lisa Robin Kelly - Laurie Foreman 3. "Streaking" 6 Sep 1998 P: Franco E. Bario D: David Trainer W: Eric Gilliland prod. no. TSS-103 [TV-PG-L] Jackie's father helps arrange a visit to the town by President Ford. When Kitty finds out, she starts cleaning the house. During a lecture by the principal to the students to behave during the President's visit, the gang come up with the idea that they should do something: streaking. Kelso, Fez, and Steve all agree and eventually persuade Eric to join them. Bob helps persuade Red to ask the President a question, which is provided to him. Red decides to ask a question about the economy since his job has been moved to half time. The kids chicken out and decide not to streak. In his moment of fame, Red freezes, and Eric decides to save the moment by streaking on his own, flinging his trenchcoat over Donna so that she cannot see, and wearing a Nixon mask, so that no one knows who he is. This snaps Red out of his stupor, and he asks why Ford pardoned Nixon. Later, Red lets Eric know he was the streaker. Guests: Paul Kreppel - Mr. Burkhart Mark Bramhall - Principal John A. Maraffi - Masher Note: Streaking was popular a few years prior to 1976. 4. "Battle of the Sexists" 20 Sep 1998 P: Franco E. Bario D: David Trainer W: Joshua Sternin & Jeffrey Ventimilia prod. no. TSS-104 [TV-PG-D] Eric squares off with Donna in a game of one-on-one (basketball), which she wins. She also beats him at air hockey and other games. Midge explains to her why she should have let Eric win, so in a one-on-one rematch, Donna does not try, but Eric knows it, and when he confronts her, it strains their relationship. They decide to try again, and the game gets physical, and not necessarily in the bad sense. Jackie clings to Kelso, but despite the ribbing from his friends, he decides it is not so bad, especially the sex. Guests: none 5. "Eric's Burger Job" 27 Sep 1998 P: Franco E. Bario D: David Trainer W: Mark Brazill prod. no. Donna lets him know her parents will be out of town, so the rest of the gang invite themselves over for a party before he realizes what she is getting at.
