His friends, the Parkers and Sloans, perpetually set him up on dates. "The Single Guy" was a production of Castle Rock Entertainment. It was created by Brad Hall (formerly on Saturday Night Live, 1982-84, and husband of "Seinfeld"'s Elaine, Julia Loius-Dreyfus). "Davy Jones" 21 November 1996 D: Alan Myerson Jonathan makes daydream believers of his friends when his Thanksgiving dinner guest of honor is the Monkees' Davy Jones. "Pilot Redux" 5 December 1996 D: Craig Zisk As the second season starts, Jonathan gets slam-dunked by Dennis Rodman; he loses his girlfriend--and a book deal--to the basketball star. Another foul shot: he can't reclaim his old apartment, now rented by a new tenant, Marie Blake. Note: This episode may not have been aired.
