Comments: Good morning Kevman, your website is very impressive and obviously took a lot of work to produce. I see you are into manga which is cool. I have always liked 8 Man and as a child saw the original animated series. So far I have only seen the first chapter of the new series: City in Fear. The rest of the chapters I have on order as well as the live action movie. Unfortunately I missed the anime convention held in Chicago last weekend, never been to one before and it seems as if they don't have as many as I would like there to be. What is a anime convention like? Must be really cool. Do you see a great deal of similarity between 8 Man and Robocop? Certain plot elements are pretty much the same... both are law enforcement types who are killed in the line of duty and (involuntarily) brought back to life by top secret technology. In the original series 8 Man is a private detective whose faithful secretary loves 8 Man and suspects who her PI employer really is. Sounds like Officer Lewis, doesn't it? I liked it so much that the next day I went out and bought the "Robocop - The Criterion Collection" which contains the extra footage, on DVD. I'm interested in seeing 2 & 3, but others on the net say that these were a mistake and made Robocop into more of a kids movie.
