This has happened in "Santa Barbara" Feb. 17, 1997 to Feb. 21, 1997, airing on "PTV4" in Finland (in episodes from 1987).
Kelly is experimenting with a wegee board when Jeffrey comes in. He thinks it won´t bring her anything else than disappointments, but Kelly tells him it´s something she has to try. Jeffrey asks if she intends to ask it some questions about Mason, but Kelly answers that she will ask some other simpler questions first. Kelly tells Jeffrey to concentrate while she asks if they´re going to have a long and happy life together. Suddenly, the pointer starts moving slowly, and points at the answer "no". Kelly tells Jeffrey that it means they won´t live a happy life together, but Jeffrey can´t understand why she is taking it so seriously. He tells her that they are the only two forces who can decide what´s going to happen to them.
Cain remembers that he had been in a psychiatric ward at the hospital, where he had met the woman. He remembers the woman touching him, and even making love to him, but he isn´t able to see her face in his mind. Perl tells him that by the end of the day they will have unlocked Mrs. Norris´ deepest secrets, and they will know everything for sure including who the woman is. Meanwhile, Elena listens to a message Cruz had left on her answering machine. Cruz tells her to meet him at the meat company at seven.
Cruz buys a dog for him and Eden to celebrate the fact that they´d been together for one week at the beach house. They decide to call the dog "Hope". Cruz tells Eden about the trap he and Perl are setting up for Eleanor. They´re going to set up an environment in which Eleanor will feel trapped in. When she finds ther´s no way out, she will start admitting everything because she thinks she has nothing to lose. Eden doesn´t like the idea at all, but Cruz promises to be very careful. He tells Eden that it´s very important to stop Eleanor.
Tori goes to see Madame Arcana again, despite Julia´s protests. Julia calls Jeffrey and tells that Tori has gone to see the same psychic again.
Arcana tells Tori that Mason now is at "the other side", but Tori doesn´t believe that he´s dead, and that she and Chip would never see him again. Arcana tells Tori to close her eyes and concentrate on a moment she can remember when she and Mason were together. Arcana tells that she slowly starts to see something, but she isn´t sure what it is. While she continues trying, Julia, Kelly and Jeffrey storm into the room and ask Arcana why she doesn´t just leave Tori alone. Tori then tells them it was her idea, and that she resents being followed. Tori asks them all to leave, but Arcana wants them to stay. She promises them to see Mason Capwell with their own eyes, but this time she will take them to him. She wants them to follow her. Arcana brings them to the beach, where Kelly finds a men�s shirt. Tori looks at it, and tells them the shirt belongs to Mason. They see some blood stains on it, and Jeffrey tells them that Mason had told him he had been injured in the note that he had sent him in the desert. When they turn around to ask Arcana how she did it, they find that she has disappeared.
Cruz and Perl wait for Eleanor at the Acme meat company. Soon Eleanor shows up, and Cruz meets her. He tells her that the storage hasn´t been used for months, and that he doesn´t think Ilse Meier works there anymore. Cruz suggests that if they check the file cabin, they might find something about her. After they´ve entered the room with the file cabins, the door closes behind them. Cruz goes to check the door, and he tells Eleanor that they´re locked in. Eleanor gets real desperate, but Cruz tells her to cool down and not talk so much, to save some air. Eleanor asks him if he had told anyone they were going to "Acme", and Cruz answers he didn�t. Cruz thinks they will find them by tracing their car or something, but Eleanor wonders when.
She is close to trying shoot her way through the steel door with her gun, but Cruz stops her. He tells her not to panic. Meanwhile, Perl is recording everything they say, waiting for a confession from Eleanor. Eleanor tells Cruz that she needs him and his strenght now. She wants Cruz to hold her.
One of Arcana�s assistants delivers a note to Tori, telling her to meet Arcana at a specified place in an hour�s time.
Jeffrey tells Kelly that he thinks the shirt just means one thing: Arcana is somehow involved in Mason�s kidnapping.
Cruz tells Eleanor that he has made many mistakes in his life. He tells
a fabricated story about when he as a cop had gunned down a man who didn�t stop at his command. The man didn�t have a gun or any other weapon, and Cruz tells Eleanor that what he did, killing a man, was unforgivable. Eleanor then tells him that he�s a good man. She also tells him that her whole life is a lie, and that nothing about her is real, not even her name. She tells she has done some terrible things, and if there really is a hell, she�s going to burn in it!
Cain recognizes Eleanor from a photo Eden shows to him, but he can�t remember her right name. He can see the woman together with dr. Alex Nikolas at the hospital in his mind, but doesn�t remember what their relationship was.
Cruz asks Eleanor what terrible things she has done, but she tells him that she can�t tell him about it.
Tori runs before a truck after having a meeting with the psychic Arcana at a local church. She had heard Mason talking through Arcana. The truck-driver tells Julia that Tori had looked real scared, like she was running from something. Julia immediately suspects that Arcana is behind it.
Kelly thinks Mason still is held captive, and that only Arcana knows where he is. Julia calls Jeffrey and tells him what has happened to Tori.
Eleanor passes out for a moment, but she soon wakes up. Cruz wants her to open her heart to him, like he did for her. He thinks she needs to get the thing of her chest. Eleanor confesses that she has wished harm to certain people. She tells Cruz she just wanted to be loved. Cruz can�t understand why someone would want to treat her so bad, when she is so smart and beautiful, and Eleanor tells him that her real father cheated her out of a family and a name, and that she will never forgive him for that. Cruz then wonders why her own father wasn�t proud of her, and she answers that he was selfish, and had no passion or loyalty, and that she will make "all of them" suffer for it. Cruz asks is she hasn�t been doing that ever since she came to Santa Barbara, trying to get revenge on the people who hurt her so much, even back in the mountains in Utah. Eleanor wonders if Cruz is out to get her too, but he tells her that he only wants to protect her, and help her, but she tells him it�s too late, and now it�s "they" who need protection. Cruz wonders why Eleanor can�t tell him her real name. The air starts to run out, and Eleanor tells Cruz that she is real scared of dying, She also tells him that she was so close to bring "them all" down, and Cruz asks her who. Eleanor then tells him that is she would tell him, he would hate her, but Cruz tells her he won�t. Eleanor is just to tell him who her real father is, when Perl bursts in to save them. Cruz tells Perl that his timing is unbelievable. When they come back to the Capwell estate, Perl remembers that he had left the tape recorder at the meat company, and he goes back there along with Carmen to get it. Perl listens to the tape to make sure that he got everything. Unfortunately Elena is hiding in the building, and she hears everything. She realizes that they had set her up.
Tori doesn�t think Madame Arcana wanted to hurt her, and neither does Kelly. Jeffrey suggests that to find Mason, they should start with Arcana, but Julia tells him that she had disappeared after the accident. Jeffrey, Kelly and Julia go searching for Madame Arcana. Arcana is at her hotel room, packing her things, when they show up. They wonder if she�s going somewhere, and Julia accuses her of almost getting Tori killed, but Arcana tells them she had been in a trance, and when she had woken up, Tori had been gone. Kelly wonders how she could speak with Mason�s voice in the church, and Arcana answers her it might have happened because Mason wanted contact with Tori, but Jeffrey thinks the only thing Arcana wanted was money. Arcana tries to contact Mason again, to prove that she isn�t a phony, but she tells them that Mason doesn�t want to reveal himself when there is skeptics present. Jeffrey then grabs Arcana�s bag, but Arcana succeeds to run away. They examine her bag, and find a tape recorder with Mason�s voice on it. They take the tape to an export, Myron, who tells them he might be able to pick up everything from the tape that didn�t get erased. He�s able to separate another voice on the tape, which Kelly identifies as the Indian�s. On the tape he says they�re going to move someone to another place. Kelly is sure they�re talking about Mason, but they wonder what "the other place" could be. Julia thinks they should call the police, but Kelly says that if Willy, the Indian, finds out they�re searching for Mason he will kill him instantly. Kelly also wonders why they hadn�t killed Mason yet, and Jeffrey thinks that it�s probably because Mason hasn�t signed that piece of paper yet.
Julia visits Tori at the hospital, and she tells her that she wants to go with Kelly and Jeffrey looking for Mason. Tori tells her she doesn�t mind her going with them.
Cain finally remembers that Eleanor�s real name is Elena Nikolas.
Jeffrey checks up a matchbox they found in Arcana�s bag. The man he asks immediately recognizes the box, and he tells Jeffrey that he had made it himself. He also suggests they check up "Club 666", a strip joint. Jeffery, Kelly and Julia visit Club 666. They talk with one of the strippers, and ask about Arcana. Julia convinces her that Arcana had inherited a lot of money because a death in the family, and that she�s handling her state. The strippers admits she knows Arcana, and tells them they had been sisters in the same sisterhood. She also tells them Arcana had been involved with an Indian.
Cain tells Eden and Cruz that the woman�s real name is Elena Nikolas, as in dr. Alex Nikolas. Eden thinks that if Elena really is Alex�s daughter, he has had a long time to poison her mind against the Capwells, but she can�t figure out how Cain fits in.
Gina is thrown in jail, and she asks the guard about the woman in the other cell. The guards tells Gina that the woman�s name is Maxine, a crazy woman sitting in for murder. Keith shows up, and wonder why she did what she did (resisting arrest, reckless driving, assaulting a police officer and more). He tells her that he�s there to spring her, but Gina tells him she doesn�t want to be springed, because she got there on purpose. Keith asks Gina if breaking into jail is a trend-setter. Gina then tells Keith that she broke into Jeffrey Conrad�s house again, and this time she found a good picture of Pamela Capwell Conrad. Keith then tells Gina he won�t let her get in ten feet from Maxine, but Gina is determined to find out about the connection between the locket and Pamela. Keith tries to convince her that Pamela is dead, but when she doesn�t change her mind, Keith promises her to see Maxine. He also promises Gina that he will get her out after they�ve talked to Maxine.
Gina asks Maxine about the photos, and she tells her that she had taken the locket with the pictures from a woman in Bellevue, about a year ago. Gina shows her a picture of Pamela, and Maxine tells her it�s the same woman. Gina is now sure that Pamela is alive, but not Keith. He thinks Maxine is crazy, and that Gina shouldn�t trust her.
T.J shows up at the Orient Express, and runs into Laken. Laken tells him she�s already seeing somebody who she cares a great deal about. T.J tells Laken he plans to stick around for a while in Santa Barbara. Ted shows up, and Laken presents him to T.J, who congratulates Ted for his excellent taste in women.
Cruz visits Alex Nikolas at his lab, to talk about Eleanor Norris. He asks Alex what led him to use Eleanor for security work at his lab, and Alex answers that he had run a background check on her. Cruz then asks him if he has got any children. Alex admits he has a daughter. Cruz tells him he knows about Elena, and he asks Alex why she goes by an alias, Eleanor Norris. Alex explains that she didn�t want to compete with his reputation. Cruz tells him that he suspects Elena is responsible for the attacks against the Capwell family, but Alex tells him his daughter has nothing to do with the things between him and C.C. Cruz doesn�t believe him. He thinks Elena is very sick, and that she needs help. Before he leaves, he warns Alex that if Elena makes one wrong move against the Capwells, she will fall.
Alex goes over to see Elena, and he tells her that Cruz knows everything about her, and that she is in big trouble. He thinks all that has happened is his fault, but he also tells Elena that he can�t protect her anymore. Elena tells Alex that she is afraid. Alex wants to get out of the country, to Capri. If she doesn�t leave, he will go to the police.
Cruz visits Elena. She tells Cruz that she heard about his meeting with Alex. Cruz tells Elena that he can prove what she did to Eden, Kelly, and probably Mason too, because Cain has come over to his side, and it turned out that his amnesia was just a temporary condition. Elena doesn�t think Cain is going to be believed by any court of law. Cruz warns her that if she goes near Eden or her family again, he will kill her.
Cruz tells Eden that he has a plan how to get rid of Eleanor, but he thinks the winner will have to play a little dirty.
C.C asks Cruz why there is so many men on his property, and Cruz explains to him that they�re security people. Cruz tells him he hired them to protect them from Elena, who obviously is planning to kill all the Capwell children. C.C tells him he doesn�t want to be a prisoner in his own house, but Cruz tells him that he has a plan that he thinks will put Elena away for good. Cruz explains to C.C that Elena is Alex Nikolas� daughter. C.C wonders why she had changed her name to Eleanor Norris. Cruz thinks Alex might be behind Elena�s hatred against the Capwells. He also thinks Elena will make a move soon, and then they will get her. He tells C.C that he�s going to take them out of town hiding, and fool Elena into thinking they�re actually hiding at the Capwell estate. Cruz intends to bring in doubles. Cruz also tells C.C that meanwhile none is setting a foot outside the house. Perl, who is keeping watch outside Elena�s apartment, calls Cruz and tells him that a man just left her apartment, but she is still in there. C.C thinks they should go to the police, but Cruz tells him they can�t, because they haven�t got any proof. C.C thinks the only right penalty for Elena is the maximum penalty under the law, the death penalty.
Eden wants Cruz to promise her to be real careful, and he promises her. He doesn�t want her to worry.
Kelly thinks they should go back to the dessert looking for Mason right now, because she is sure Elena is behind his disappearance. Jeffrey tells her that they have to wait until Cruz has got Elena.
Cain tells Eden that he has to get them out of this mess, because it�s his fault they�re in it. He�s actually thinking about seeing Elena face to face, but Eden tells him it�s out of the question because it�s too dangerous. Cain promises her not to do anything stupid.
Perl calls Cruz again, and tells him that Elena has left her hotel room. Cruz tells the Capwells that he has a helicopter waiting, and that it�s time to evacuate everyone. Meanwhile, Cain is able to sneak out of the house, and past the security guard. Perl calls Cruz again, and he tells Cruz Elena didn�t go near the house, she went straight to the airport. He had watched her plain taxi down the runway. Cruz tells Perl he�s on his way there, and he explains the situation to C.C.
Cain brakes into Elena�s hotel room. He�s searching through the room, when he suddenly remembers that Elena used to love the beach.
Kelly and Jeffrey talk to C.C, and tells him they want to go back to the desert to look for Mason. Finally C.C lets them go. Eden thinks it�s safe now when Elena is on the plane.
Cruz and Perl check out the airport and Cruz finds a door that is open, but is supposed to be locked. He tells Perl he�s sure Elena got out through that door, and that he bets on that she isn�t on the plane. He thinks Perl must have seen somebody else boarding the plane, and not Elena.
Cain finds Elena on the beach. He sneaks up behind her, grabs her, and puts his knife against her throat.
Cruz tries calling Eden home to check that she�s safe, while Perl explains to C.C that there�s a slight chance Elena didn�t get on that plane. Cruz goes over to the beach house, and he finds Eden there.
Cain holds a knife against Elena�s throat, and tells her that he won�t let go of her until he gets some answers. He wants Elena to tells him how she could convince him to participate in her dirty plans. Elena then asks Cain if he remembers what happened to his men in the Vietnam War. She tells him that he was responsible for the death of his men, and that he never stood trial for what he did. Eventually Elena is able to escape from Cain.
Alex is angry at Elena because she hadn�t taken the flight, but Elena tells him the flight was over-booked. She promises Alex to take the next flight the following day. Alex gives her the keys to his bungalo near the beach, because he knows how much Elena loves the sea.
Gina takes a pregnancy test, because she has some feelings that are typical for a pregnant woman. The test shows that Gina is pregnant. Gina asks Keith how he would feel about having kids, and Keith tells her that he�s not interested in changing dippers, and that some things just aren�t meant to be.
Cain goes to see Alex Nikolas, and he tells him that Elena knows everything about his past, and he accuses Alex of handing out his files after each session to her. Alex tells him that he never gave Elena his files. Cain wants to know where Elena is, but Alex doesn�t want to tell him because she is his daughter. Cain tells him to pray that he gets to Elena before anybody else gets hurt. After Cain has left, Alex calls Cruz and tells him that Cain is out to get Elena, and he wants Cruz to go out and stop him. Eden is more worried about Cain than Elena. Cruz wants Eden to go back to her family while he�s out looking for Cain. Eden promises to go, but she wants to drive there herself. After Cruz has left, Eden can�t find their dog Hope, and she begins looking for it.
Cain shows up at the bungalo, and Elena tells him to get out, because she is expecting a guest. When Cain sees all the candles, the champagne and so on, he tell her that it was exactly like this when she had asked him to commit murder. Elena tells him that she obviously should have picked someone else for the job, but that she had thought even a coward like Cain could do it. Elena doesn�t think Cain is going to kill her, and Cain tells her that he doesn�t intend to, but he wants to make sure she doesn�t hurt anyone else. Then Elena pulls a gun and orders Cain to move. She pushes him down the stairs to the basement. She locks the basement door in a hurry, and runs out. Cruz enters the bungalo with drawn gun, but he doesn�t find Elena or Cain. He just intends to open the basement door, when he hears a car start outside, and runs out to check it out. When Cruz returns to the Capwell estate, C.C tells him that Eden isn�t there, but Cruz tells him that she had promised him to go there while he was out. He explains to C.C about the call from Alex Nikolas and about Elena. Meanwhile Eden is still at home looking for Hope. Finally she finds it outside. While Eden goes in to look for the car keys, Elena shows up outside the beach house.
