Q What's the next movie for Denise Richards, who got noticed in spring's steamy Wild Things? And where was she before that?

Eric Isaac, Washington, D.C.

You may recognize her as the conniving daughter of Loni Anderson on Melrose Place. ("Not my best work," she has said.) Or as a former Bonne Bell model. But Wild Things, in which she played a beautiful heiress, and Starship Troopers put Richards on Hollywood's faces-to-know list. Recently she went to work with Ellen Barkin and Kirsten Dunst on Dairy Queens, a "mockumentary" about a rural Minnesota beauty pageant.

I guess she feels The Place is a blemish on her resume. I know another actress, I won't say who (marcia cross), who feels the same way.
