TV Guide gives a Jeers to death by Viagra From the May 29th TV Guide:

cheers AND
JEERS

JEERS to good lovin gone bad (to borrow a phrase from the rock band Bad Company). Lust in prime time has suddenly turned lethal. First there was that death-by-Viagra Law & Order episode with Julia Roberts (May 5). Then on Melrose Place (May 10) randy cruise-line magnate Tony Marlin (played by onetime teen idol James "Goodbye Cruel World" Darren) passed away at the height of passion. And last month on Chicago Hope (April 28), Dr. Austin (Christine Lahti) kissed and made up with her former lover (Alex McArthur). But the reunion was a little too taxing for him: He died in her bed. With all these femmes fatales floating around, there is apparently no such thing as safe sex.

Death-by-Viagra should have been given a CHEER. It's like a public service announcement warning that Viagra could kill. And what a way to go.
