Heather Locklear refused to share the stage with Tommy Lee

HEATHER LOCKLEAR was shocked when she learned what was planned for the night she was hosting the recent VH1 Fashion Awards - executives wanted her to share the stage with her ex-husband TOMMY LEE and PAM ANDERSON! Producers felt it would be a huge publicity coup to have the reconciled lovers present an award - Pam and Tommy thought so too and agreed to do it. But Heather got wind of the idea days before the show and immediately told executives to forget about it or get another host. Heather has nothing against Pam, but she's not ready to share the stage with her ex.
The producers should have ambushed her. They shouldn't have told her about Tommy, just about Pamela. Then have Tommy appear with Pamela to surprise Heather. Now THAT would have been interesting.
