Star's coverage of Josie Bissett and Rob Estes' baby From the August 10th Star:

Josie Bissett miracle baby

THE stork has finally paid a visit to real-life Melrose Place couple Josie Bissett and Rob Estes.
The couple were desperate to become parents after a heartbreaking miscarriage, and their prayers were finally answered when Josie gave birth to Mason Tru Estes on July 21 in Los Angeles.
The baby weighed in at 9 pounds and is 21 inches long.
Josie, 27, one of the original Melrose Place cast members playing Jane Mancini, left the show in 1997, after learning she was pregnant.
At the same time husband Rob, former star of USA Networks Silk Stalkings, joined the cast of the show.
But two months into her pregnancy Josie suffered a miscarriage. She later returned to the series, and while filming the final season, learned she was pregnant again.
"Josie was really careful this time," says a pal. "I think she was relieved in a way that the show ended. It gave her a chance to stay healthy during the pregnancy."
The couple met in 1991 during a casting call for a TV movie. Eleven months later, during a Thanksgiving trip to the Big Bear mountain resort near L.A., romantic Rob led Bissett along a candlelit, rose-strewn pathway and proposed.

In a way I was relieved the show ended too. Now I get more than 3 or 4 hours of sleep on Monday nights.
