Star previews the 7th Season of The Place From the July 21st Star Magazine:

MELROSE WEDDING SHOCKER
Heather walks up the aisle - but trouble's right behind!

AN explosive confrontation at the altar kicks off the new season of Melrose Place as Amanda - played by Heather Locklear - sees her wedding turn into a life-or-death battle between the two men in her life.
Guilt-ridden over what she believes to be the suicide of hubby Kyle's ex-girlfriend Christine, Amanda is about to tie the knot with sleazy Rory (Anthony Tyler(sic)), unaware that all he wants is her money.
STAR has learned that Kyle (Rob Estes) flies to the Dominican Republic to stop Amanda from divorcing him - a mission that climaxes in a ferocious struggle at the chapel.
And that's not all that's in store for TV's friskiest apartment dwellers.
Kyle and Amanda's reunion will be short-lived. Kyle will soon be involved with real- life wife Josie Bissett, who is returning as the long-suffering Jane - a new "wiser, more grown-up" version of the old character promised Josie.
And don't think Heather Locklear will be without a man for long.
Jack Wagner (Amanda's ex-husband Peter) told producers he's anxious to work with Heather again, so the writers obliged.
Sources say Peter will drop girlfriend Lexi (Jamie Luner) and mastermind a plot to win Amanda back - with terrifying results.
As for Lexi, trouble with the law will see her turn for help to ex-husband Coop (Linden Ashby).
Expect a quick wrap-up of the Billy-Samantha-Jennifer storyline, because all the actors involved in the love triangle (Andrew Shue, Brooke Langton and Alyssa Milano) are leaving the show.
Lisa Rinna (Taylor), who just had her first child with husband Harry Hamlin, is also bailing out, as is Ashby.
