LISA RINNA WANTS TO RETURN TO DAYS

SOURCES TELL SOAP OPERA WEEKLY that Lisa Rinna, who played Days of Our Lives' Billie Reed from 1992-'95, has approached the show about returning to the role she originated. At press time, a spokesperson for Rinna said he was "unaware of the situation." However, sources close to the NBC daytime drama say there is a possibility Rinna's Billie might return sometime next summer. A spokesperson for Days' executive producer Ken Corday said, "There is no comment at this time."
�����Billie had been involved in a steamy romance with Bo until Hope returned to Salem. Billie fled to Paris, and when she reappeared (played by Krista Allen), she reset her sights on Bo. They eventually remarried � with a little help from her mother, Kate, and late model Franco Kelly, who wanted Hope for himself.
�����While working undercover with Bo, Billie � a recovering addict � was kidnapped, injected with drugs and suffered a terrible withdrawal, which kept her close to Bo. Billie soon became pregnant with Bo's child. Unfortunately, their baby daughter, Georgia, was stillborn. Billie let go of her hold on Bo and teetered on the verge of romance with Roman before returning to Paris to concentrate on her cosmetics company.
�����If Billie returns, she could pick up where she left off with Bo, as his marriage to Hope is threatened by lies surrounding baby John's paternity. She could also heat things up with Josh Taylor's Roman, who is in desperate need of a viable love interest.
