MP star moves on!
Until her final MELROSE PLACE episode aired in September, actress Brooke Langton (ex-Samantha) was getting double exposure and double the workload, being seen on both MP and her new USA series THE NET.
�����Having a new series to go to certainly softened the blow of being let go from MP after three seasons. Through all the turmoil of her firing from MELROSE, Langton took the high road. "I read in 'TV Guide' where she said, 'I think it was time. Mr. Spelling knew the role had run out,'" says executive producer Aaron Spelling, who appreciated the honest comments from the actress so much that he sent her an arrangement of beautiful flowers to the Canadian set of THE NET. "It was not like she said, 'I was dropped and I'll never talk to him again.' I think when you have some kind of loyalty behind producers and actors, and it's reciprocated, that's what you dream about in a business like this."
�����According to Spelling, Langton was so appreciative of the flowers she picked up the phone and called him almost immediately. "She must have called me ten minutes later, crying on the phone and thanking me over and over again," Spelling tells Update.
