Stars Your Shows Never Should Have Lost!
Is it too late to get them back?
It's been weeks, months or even years, but we simply haven't been able to forget them. Watching our favorite show without them is like reading a novel with half the pages torn out - something's missing!
How is it that the soaps in question allowed these popular performers to slip through their fingers?
 A New PLACE
GENERAL HOSPITAL's Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco, 1983-1991; 1994)
We knew it wasn't going to happen, yet when Felicia married Mac this summer, we were still, inexplicably, holding out the tiniest sliver of hope that Frisco would burst in and sweep his ex-wife off her feet - or at least put up a good fight - before she said "I do!"
He didn't, of course. But you can't blame us for keeping our fingers crossed. After all, Frisco was Felicia's first love, and many fans believe he is still the one with whom she is destined to spend the rest of her life. (If the dearly departed Brenda had been about to walk down the aisle with Jax, we would have expected Sonny to show up!)
It's not that we don't like Mac. He's a nice guy and he's good to Felicia. But let's face it, their relationship seems pretty tepid compared to Frisco and Felicia's passionate, 14-year romance.

As long time GHers know, the chemistry between these two was undeniable. They were the young couple to watch in the 1980s. Who knows why they clicked? Maybe it's because viewers sensed that Wagner and his now-wife Kristina Wagner (Felicia) were falling in love off camera too.
And yes, we know that Wagner, who's currently on MELROSE PLACE as Dr. Peter Burns, left GH on his own terms, and that Frisco has not visited in years. Still, we think of him as one of the family and miss him just as much. Surely there's some way GH could entice Wagner - big money, perhaps? - back to Port Charles.

"Possibly. He did a short stint on SUNSET BEACH as a favor to Aaron Spelling, so you never know," says expert Gerard Waggett. If this turns out to be MELROSE PLACE's last season" - as insiders are saying, though let's just see how the ratings turn out once the actual fall season begins - "he might just return."
