If you happen to be thumbing through the pages of Vogue or Cosmopolitan, don't be surprised if you come across an ad featuring married soap stars Kristina (Felicia, GENERAL HOSPITAL) and hubby Jack Wagner (ex-Fresco, GH). The duo is currently starring in a series of nationwide ads for "Apollo Secret," a 40-minute teeth-whitening process available at dentists nationwide. Why choose the Wagners? Well, according to the company's CEO and chairman Robert Gurevitch, the reason was simple: "Jack and Kristina Wagner are glamorous people that are extremely well known, and represent an image our target audience can relate to."
�����An ad featuring the couple's toothy grins that appeared this summer in People magazine generated an "overwhelming" response, according to the company spokesperson. "In one month, the ad issued over 3,000 consumer inquiries to our toll-free number, and generated over 30,000 hits to our website," says the company's PR rep Krista Gariano.
