IS BILLIE REED COMING BACK TO SALEM?

Fan favorite Lisa Rinna is rumored to be recreating her role. Or will it be recast?

Sifting through the rumors that surround casting at DAYS OF OUR LIVES is not an easy task. Ever since Lisa Rinna left her popular role of Billie on DAYS to take on primetime projects (Taylor, MELROSE PLACE), fans have clamored for her return because Billie (Kate's daughter, Austin's sister and Bo's ex-love) was an integral part of DAYS. The role was recast with Krista Allen, who did a great job, but also left when Bo realized what everyone always knew � his heart belongs to Hope.
�����But sources close to the show have been whispering that indeed Billie may be making a return to DAYS. Some are saying that Rinna was about to come back before she got pregnant and may indeed return sometime after her second baby is born.
�����If Rinna isn't available, fans would love to see Allen back as Billie, but now rumors are circulating that a SURVIVOR, Jerri Manthey (who plays herself on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS on May 28), may be up for the role. How true is that? And does it mean that Rinna and Allen have turned it down?
