DAYS SWEETIE TURNS SINISTER ON MELROSE

Recently on MELROSE PLACE, Steve Wilder's (ex-Jack, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) character, Alex Bastian, tried to break up Michael and Jane, to no avail. So now, Wilder's former DAYS wife, Stephanie Cameron (ex-Jennifer, r.), will give it a whirl. On the January 25 episode, Cameron kicks off a story that will play through February sweeps and will further complicate the rocky Mancini marriage.
�����Cameron will play Nurse Audrey, who quickly develops an unholy alliance with Michael involving a financial scam and adultery. "[DAYS's] Jennifer was always surrounded by family and various husbands, whereas Audrey is a bit of a loner - though hungry for the affections of the man she adores," notes Cameron. "Deep down, she just wants to be loved. She figures out what she wants and from then on it's hard to stop her. She's full of surprises."
�����Though she resists the label "villainous," Cameron admits that her new role will showcase a side to her that fans have not seen. "She's very savvy and sexy - with a wild streak," previews Cameron, who now sports a shorter, darker 'do. "Audrey dresses very provocatively. Acting in my bra took some getting used to. It's definitely more daring than DAYS," laughs the actress. Adds Co-Executive Producer Charles Pratt, Jr., "With the lingerie she's wearing, Audrey's going to be adding a whole hell of a lot."
�����Audrey will appear on four episodes and then disappear - temporarily.
