Andrew Shue talks about honesty From the July Redbook:

IS HONESTY ALWAYS BEST?

Fess up - you've told a fib or two to a loved one. Here, Hollywood's professional fakers admit how truth and lies play into their relationships.

"On the big things, you've got to be very open: 'This is what I'm thinking, this is what I'm feeling.' It's the only way you can grow and move forward. On those little things, you've got to be careful. I don't know if I'd call that lying - it's being sensitive to the things they'd rather hear."

In other words, if you want to stay happy, you've got to lie like a rug.
