Playing naughty, then nice, Heather Locklear
doubled our fun in a two-role season

1984 It was Dr. Jekyll and Mrs. Hyde time for Heather Locklear: In 1984 she switched between villianous (as schemer Sammy Jo Carrington on Dynasty) and virtuous (as rookie cop Stacy Sheridan on T.J. Hooker). But Heather Locklear, cuddling above with her Maltese, Scarlet, at her home in Tarzana, Calif., was more Stacy than Sammy Jo. "You'd think Heather came from Iowa, [she] was so sweet," boss Aaron Spelling said. That didn't stop her from clawing her way through Melrose Place—or sparring with the big boys on Spin City. "The critics figured I was just another blonde," Locklear has said. "But I never thought I'd be a flash. The best revenge is sticking around."

Judging from this picture, Heather looks so much better now that she did back then.
