My Great Aunt, Clara Chilson Lee, proud wife and survivor of husband Augustana Music Professor J Earl Lee, was a familiar Sioux Falls community leader for many, retired Augustana College Professor for speech and many Augustana debate teams, patron of the arts, mentor and world traveler, died this last November from a severe stroke. She will be missed dearly. She joins Earl in a better place.
October is moving month (again). My mother and grandmother will be moving from Canton, SD into a duplex in Sioux Falls, SD. I have (of course) been recruited to help with the move (I thought I wasn't going to do this anymore after college ;) ). The new place is only a couple blocks from Augustana College, and hence, a very short walk to the University of Sioux Falls where I teach the Sportsline TV production class Video Graphics part time on the Amiga 4000 computer equipped with a Video Toaster.
I am proud to announce that I am an uncle for the second time, now!
Daniel Robert Peters entered this world at 9 pounds 2 ounces and 22 inches on August 22nd, 1996 to join his sister, Michelle (now 2), and parents Mark and Evonne in my lil' brutha's branch of the Peters family tree!
