| Elektra King, the daughter of a murdered oil tycoon whom James Bond is assigned to protect. Robert Carlyle joins the cast as the villain Renard, who has a bullet lodged in his brain rendering him unable to feel pain. The film also stars Denise Richards as nuclear weapons expert, Dr. Christmas Jones. Desmond Llewelyn returns as Q, along with appearences by Judi Dence as M and Samatha Bond as Moneypenny.
