Gorsh the Thornback Dragon

Oh, Gorsh the Thornback dragon
lived by the sea
and frenzied in the winter frost
in a land called Norvege

Youthful Tommy Riddle
Loved the gory Gorsh
and brought him gems and sealing wax
and other fancy stuff

together they would travel
in the cloak of blackest nights
Tommy kept a lookout
perched on Gorsh's gigantic tail

noble kings and princes
would cower whenever they came
pirate ships would cheer their pass
when Gorsh roared out Tom's name

a dragon lives forever
but not so youthful lads
splendid blades and spurting blood
made way for other toys

one grey night it happened
Tommy Riddle was no more
and Gorsh that mighty dragon
he roared a tearful roar

his head was arched in sorrow
black scales fell like rain
Gorsh no longer went to kill
along the shipping lanes

without his lifelong friend
Gorsh could not hold back
so Gorsh that mighty dragon
madly marched into Hogsmeade
