The Historical Ballroom Dance Club at UCLA was founded in Fall Quarter 1997 by leaders of the Ballroom Dance Club at UCLA interested in 19th century social dances of the Jane Austen & Victorian periods
Since the 1st theme dances produced at UCLA in April & June 1998, Vintage Dance at UCLA has expanded to MONTHLY Events spanning 5 centuries of social dance & often include live music or theatrical presentations in addition to 3 hours of instruction.
You may experience a taste of Vintage dance at the beginning of Weekly lessons on Monday Nights at 7 p.m.
at UCLA Ackerman Union 2nd Floor Lounge
or UCLA Kerchoff Hall Grand Salon
